Hi!
Are you talking about Daytona in Fl? I live in the Naples area and am struggling with staying on track right now. I think it is because I work for the school system, we are closing out for the year and everything is stressful and chaotic. I did great yesterday until just before bedtime, went into the kitchen, made terrible choices and ended up eating in front of the TV. Hate it when I do that! So far so good today - about to do an exercise routine in the pool and try to help work off what I did yesterday. Have a terrific weekend.

Hi Anne, Yes I am talking about Daytona, FL. Go there every year for the races. Sorry to hear that you are struggling. I know where you are at because I've been there so many times. Seems to be a lot of stress in the work place these days. I put on about 20 lbs trying to endure a new boss, and all the changes talking place, I just now finally got my act together and am getting back on track. Sometimes everyday is a stuggle. So you are not alone. Hang in there and know that you can do this. Thanks for stopping by my journal.

Tom, hope you have a good weekend also!

Hi Tom, Awful choices?...not a good thing....One really bad weekend would send me right over the edge. Hope you recover this week.

I had a fair weekend, although I did eat a doughnut. Other than that I wasn't too bad. So far this week I've been a good girl, nothing I shouldn't have and managing to curve those cravings. Yesterday I was ready to endulge but I had ordered up a new cell phone....ended up having to go get it at Fed-ex...always miss them here at home. Anyway, of course I had to play all night to figure out the ins and outs, so I managed to get past dinner and the cravings too. One up for me.

Have a great Day!

Learning a new Cell phone is always fun. I changed from a smartphone to a Blackberry last month. It was quite an interesting transition. Now, I love it.

I slipped on a doughnut this week too.

So far it has been a good weekend. I've managed to stay away from those doughnuts, even though I stood there looking at them this morning at the grocery store....walked away. I managed to get the grass cut yesterday early in the morning, it's so humid here right now I can't hardly stand it. This morning I am headed for the garage to get some things done out there. Owning a home is a never ending battle for things that need to be done. Especially for a woman, glad I am a bit of a tomboy, otherwise I would sell this place and move to an apartment.

Grass. We live in a Desert. We don't got no grass here.
Spent last week doing stuff in our sheds. 27 years of marriage = 27x2 of collected JUNK. 1 trip to the dump so far.
Have a good one!

I sure wish I didn't have any, it is a pain. And I know you have collected a lot of stuff after 27 years. If we only bought what we needed and nothing else, how simple things would be...maybe no fun, but simple.

Well tomorrow is my B-day, expect to have a very high carb day...probably cake at work and dinner later on with my parents...and who knows what with the BF.

Have a good evening.

Thought I had better check in before the weekend, we leave for Daytona tomorrow night, will be there until Sunday or maybe Monday depending on the weather. Can't wait....always excited about going, because I just love the races, especially Nascar. The diet will probably take a dive for a week or at least until we get back....sometimes that's the price you pay why being away from home.
