Thanks PIP.

I had a very nice workout last night. Simple to get me used to the gym again. I'll be going again either Thursday evening or Friday morning. We got passes to the SEMA automotive show for tomorrow. I'll be getting plenty of walking in.

I have been LC since yesterday morning. Last night I had a motorcycle assn meeting. Chix Ceasar salad. Today I had Carne Asada sans tortilla.
I'm getting my head into the choosing not to eat breads etc. I've walked past several doughnut trays without even considering taking one.

The weather has been nice. Rode my motorcycle to work. This weekend TJ (son) & I are leading an off-road ride on Sunday. We have an area I call the training ground.

Back to the grindstone.

Hey Tom,

What kind of truck did you buy for yourself?

We spent the whole day walking yesterday. That SEMA show is huge. We barely scratched the surface. I'll be sure to get passes for us next year so we can go for the whole week.
My feet hurt. Seems now that my knees are replaced, I no longer take sit-down breaks every 30 minutes. That was quite a workout for my tootsies.
I was true to LC. Salad at the comnvention. I even walked by a booth doing fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. I admit, that one was tough.
After the convention, I had a motorcycle club meeting. Had Chicken Ceasar salad there.
One thing for sure today. NO Chicken. I had leftover roast beef for lunch.

Pip- My truck is a 2008 Dodge Quad-cab Long bed Diesel. It ooozes Testosterone.
Liz, my wife does not want to drive it at all. Only driven it at times when she became designated driver due to my activities at the time.
I have my stuff for another trip to the gym tonight.
No meetings so I can relax and do the sauna afterwards.

Hey Tom,

I don't blame your wife for not wanting to drive that truck...I'd be scared to get behind the wheel of it myself. :-) Enjoy it!

I made it to the gym Friday afternoon. Yesterday was 135mile off-road ride. Both TJ & I were sore today. When we stopped for lunch, I only had tuna salad.
I weighed in this morning 5 lbs down from last week.

I've had no issue with carbs at all. I went to a bbq on Saturday and sat right in front of all the platters of cookies and cakes. I ate my cheeseburger pattie & 2 bratwurst.

Weight is stable this morning. I'm feeling pretty good now that I'm no longer stiff from the weekend riding. Today will be the gym and tomorrow will be another ride. Not a long torture ride this time.
This weekend I'll be heading to SoCal for my Julian Apple pie car cruise. I expect and plan on some slight LC indescressions. Liz will not be joining me this year. He little Jack Russel Terrier is on his last legs. She will be staying home with him. We were gone to Lake Tahoe when my Lab had to be put down. It really hurt both of us.
Last night had steak and string beans for dinner. lunch was 2 hot links & some Edemame beans. Today's breakfast Egg salad. One of my employees is retired military and found me some Jalapeno mustard on base. Good stuff.

Quite a lot happening since last week. My weight is stable. No loss, no gain. Still getting my body back into LC mode.

My boy spent 3 nights in jail and is out of the house. He got a hold of mom's personal account ATM card to the tune of $5600. Gambling addiction.

Liz's little dog looks to be feeling better. Liz needed a break and joined me on the car trip to SoCal. We got back last night. Poor guys. My daughter only visited them once and didn't give them any treats. They were having treat withdrawls by the time we got home. They were very very happy to see us.

I had some LC indiscretions over the weekend. I expected and planned on them. I was able to keep them very slight. 3 days of driving is not very much activity to use up calories.
I brought my gym stuff for a stop on the way home today.

5 lbs in one week! Wow Tom! You're doing great. Can you pass some of that magic over here? :-)
