Great going on the gas mileage, Tom! It'll help pay for that shopping trip.

Tom: I've been following along with the problems you've been having with your son and so relate to your wife. My dd is an alcoholic..we almost lost her 3 times last year. She finally went into rehab and she's been clean for awhile. Now she's turned to gambling. I don't think it will ever end. In fact...she used to work for us but wouldn't stop playing the lotteries which is illegal here while you are working. I had to fire her two days ago. I've always been there for her and probably enabled her way too much. I also have the sore neck muscles and am back taking acid reducers...it's all stress. All you can do is what you are doing and be there for your wife. I'm sure it's all she would ask for. Your a good husband I can tell. Hope you don't mind me hijacking your journal.

Thanks for stopping in to all. Donna, thank you for the kind words. You hang in there. Never give up!
I've been a busy boy all weekend. Spent Saturday & Sunday out in the desert, working on the course for our clubs race next weekend. Got plenty of exercise. My only non-LC eating was 1/2 baked potato for dinner, a couple homemade bicuits for 1 breakfast and 1 banana w/ peanut butter. The banana is very important to keep me from cramping at night from all the riding. Worked well.

The shelving I had in the trailer destructed on the dirt roads. THAT will not happen again. I spent yesterday welding in beefy metal shelving. Liz was enjoying helping me with the project. These shelves will still be in place when the trailer is long since fallen apart.

I'm taking off Friday to go out early for the race. TJ will be joining me. I will have him bus over to our place in the morning. This way he can help me load up and ensure we have all of his stuff needed too. I'll drop him off Sunday night.
I know how much he loves to ride and he is one of the hardest workers in the club. Liz will be staying home so as to limit the contact between them. I will do my best to stay in "adult" mode. No parent.

I've got plenty to get done...
See Ya.
Have a Wonderful Week!

Way to go on the eating Tom. My dh plays slowpitch and he cramps up too. I've found that raisins stop him from cramping. I don't which one is the worse of the two evils...banana or raisins, but I know they both help.

Have fun on the ride!

Glad to hear that TJ is going with you, will do him so good and also give you some help in preparing for the trip. Hope those new shelves due the trick, good thing you have the know how to build them. I have to laugh at some of the men at work, don't know what to do without their computers, pay someone else to do everything.

Had our club meeting at a Mexican resturaunt last night. Not a very LC night.
I got home and got to work on more stuff for the trip. Then I noticed an oil puddle uner my ATV. Apparently TJ stripped the drain plug. Liz is going to the shop today to see if they have a replacement plate. I got 7 things off my list last night. I added 4 more this morning. Small items. I'm a list kinda person. Helps me get-er-done.

Those list come in handy, at least maybe you won't be running around at the last minute trying to figure out what you forgot.

If I don't list, it don't get done! And nine times out of ten, my grocery list is on my lamp stand, and I'm at the store. LOL!

Sounds like you're planning on having some fun. Good for you!

Well about 1/3 of the items on my trip list have been moved to the "do it later list." They just are not critical for this and the following weekends. I'll see about getting them done over the next few weeks.
Liz griddled up some fresh Alaskan Salmon last night. That and some Edimane pods was dinner.

I liked what I saw on the scale this morning. Not saying.
I'm hoping to control myself and with the additional activity this weekend hope to break a milestone.

This afternoon is the dentist to start the process of fixing the tooth that chunked.

I'll start packing up tonight and then finish up when TJ gets to the house in the morning. I would like to be out at the pits around Noon.

See ya next week...

Just a quick post...
It was a great race weekend. We had rain fog and wind. Good for the races, not so great for some of us. TJ & I are under the weather. I called in sick. I've been in bed all day. I just got up long enough to set my trailer and truck in their place. Liz will be taking TJ to his "house" in a couple hours. He got permission for an extra day since we weren't getting home until near 10pm last night.
I'm pretty conifident I made my milestone. I won't know until tomorrow morning. Haven't been near the scale. I've barely eaten anything all weekend. Busy busy busy.

Found out more improvements for the trailer, leveling jacks and insulation is next. Things got kinda wet inside with the heater on and cold air outside. Condensation.
I'mm off.
See ya.
