Today has got to be better than yesterday ended.
I ended the day by blowing the motor on my new truck.
Now I have to get all my additional equipment off before turning it in for warranty repair. It will take a few days to get the stuff off. I expect to be without my truck for a few weeks. At least I don't have anything planned needing it at this time.

Liz made Tuna Steak for dinner last night.

I got little sleep. With my ADD, I was restless all night, thinking about what I've got to do to the truck. I hope to squeeze in a relation cycle or two today. Someday I've got to get that track put on my MP3 player for home use. Then I can put the headphones on and crash. It really puts me to sleep.

I wish all a great day!

Oh, Tom, I'm sorry about your truck. What a real pain! I hope you get it taken care of, and that it doesn't take forever to get it back.

Tom, So sorry about your truck. That would defenately make a person restless when happening at the end of the day. At least it is under warranty. Be greatfull for that! They might be able to fix it sooner then you think, depending on their workload.

I hope today was a better day.

I'm half way thru restoring the truck to stock to take it in. I'll finish tonight. Tomorrow morning I'll call for pick-up.

I slept well last night. Getting some of the stuff done and just plain tired helps.
Dinner last night was a ham sammich w/ high-fiber bread.
I'm sitting at 249lbs. Still holding well there. I don;t mind. I seem to lose in steps.
I've got meetings this afternoon adn tomorrrow, so short days at work.
Of course there will be scattered showers all thru next week.
That affects anything I would like to do. I really don't wanna spend 3 days couped up doing computer or stuff.

Cyndi & Eric will be coming over to help me with the truck and then we'll take them out for dinner.

She sent me something very nice. Enjoy!
Boogie
Good to remember!
I wish they would open one of these here.

See ya!

We had our management fourm downtown this morning. Senior management letting us in on how they are dealing with the economy effects on our organization. There is so much fear among people. There is also, so much generocity. Many are volunteering to make concessions to help others keep their jobs.
I came home after that so I could get my truck picked up for repair. My big baby just barely fit on the flatbed. Still waiting for work back on how long it will be. I'm figuring they will have my truck for about a week.

I weighed in at 249 again this morning. I'm pretty satisfied with that. That's holding steady at 11 pounds down from New Years day.

BF was scrambled eggs w/cheese & BF sausage.
L was a hunk of braunswager.
Liz is feeling sick. Been down for days. Cold weather getting to her. She has pretty much quit smoking (only cheating on leftover butts from Cyndi today) I'm supporting her the best I can.
Later I'll take her over to SONIC for a Milk Shake. Kind of a tradition when she is sick. I'll limit how bad I am with my eating while there.

Haven't figured what we will do for Valentines day. This weekend is also our Granddaughter's B-day.

Happy Valentines day to all you wonderful Ladies out there.

Last night was amazing!
Cyndi won tickets to a Concert. She invited me to join her.
The headline Group was Puscifer.
I enjoy that kind of music too.
The opening group was great, not something I would have expected. Uncle Scratch's Gospel Revival. Official Uncle Scratch Web Site

We met up for dinner at an Irish Pub before the Concert.
I love to people watch. There was plenty to watch last night. I called it the "Freak Show" Ahh to be young and crazy again. I saw some outfits that reminded me of the old Rocky Horror days.

Taking Liz out for BF in a few.
It's chilly today. Dunno what I'll get accomplished. Got a bunch of tinkering done on my bike yesterday. No truck to tinker on. Haven't heard back from the dealer on what damage is done and when I'll be getting my baby back.

I hope all you ladies had a wonder Valentines Day. Now get ready for a nice President's Day.

Ended up being quite an interesting weekend...
I had the Concert on Saturday night. Fun!
I also did some needed mods to my bike. Not if it would only stop raining so I can ride it.
Sunday we took our 14 year old granddaughter out for her b-day. Also was able to finally give her the X-mas present that has been sitting on our hutch.
We gave her a Cell phone for her B-day. A text version. She loves it.
Then Monday we took my 15 year old grandson out, 2 months late for x-mas & his B-day. I couldn't believe he bought sneakers for $75.

I heard back from the dealer on my truck. They are working with Chrysler about possibly replacing my motor. Wow, I didn't expect this much customer service. Not with their financial issues.
LC eating took a back seat over the weekend. GD wanted sushi. It sure was good.

I hope all are having a great week!

Hi Tom,

I know a lot of people who spend a lot more then that on those sneakers. I was always greatfull that my boys didn't care what they wore as long as it fit. My BF's youngest had to have the best of everything, and daddy always bought it. Can't wait until he has some of his own who want all the high dollar stuff.

Glad to hear that they may be replacing your motor. If they want returning customers then they have to take care of them when there's a problem, right?

It's good to hear that customer service is still alive and well!

Gotta tell you what happened to Dan yesterday on his way to work. He rides his Vespa every day, weather permitting. On the way to work yesterday he didn't see a telephone line in the road. It got all tangled up in the scooter, ripped his jeans at the thigh and put a huge scratch on his thigh. Broke a tiny part of the scooter, and put some black marks on it. He just put on a windshield last week, and I think if he hadn't had that to take up some of the cable, he might have been injured really bad. The cable could have wrapped around his arms or even his neck! The insurance adjuster will be here tomorrow to look at it. Our son-in-law came and took pictures. I'm glad that my husband wears a helmet and an armored jacket when he rides, even if it is a little scooter and not a big old bike. Anyway, goes to show that even little things can cause an upset. The police called Verizon out, apparently the insurance company will be dealing with them for us.

I hope Verizon takes care of Dan & the scooter. They got insurance for that kind of stuff.

I'll be calling the dealer today to get an update on my truck. I do know I need to stay on them or it will get stuck in the back lot.

Liz made Chicken Wings for dinner last night.
I did some clean-up on my computer and installed new Security software our company provides for employees. Much better than the 2007 version. Much less overhead. My machine at home is running quicker. The company recognizes that people will bring in disks and jump drives from home with files. It is in their best interests to provide us with good protection at home.

I was hoping to ride my bike to work... I looked outside and saw frost on the cars. NOT!
Maybe tomorrow.

Tom, it's great that your company does that. The place I work does that also, I had it on my old computer but I put a different security program on the new one. They should be coming out with a new version pretty soon, maybe then I will go back to it.

Hope you got good news about the truck.

The weatherman lied again! They say it is warming up. I rode my bike to work. Froze my A.. off! I'm still chilly. I was even wearing my extra outer gear. If I do this again, I'm digging out my Snowmobile suit.

No word yet on my truck. I'm hoping to have her back this weekend.

Liz & I stopped at a buffet last night. I was doing real good... Until I walked by the deserts and I saw CHERRY & PEACH Cobblers. Let's just say the day did NOT end on a LC high note.
We stopped by Walmart and picked up a new mouse for Liz. A Microsoft wireless unit for under $20. She likes it. Spent a few more bucks on all kinds of other "needed" stuff as well.

So... Anybody have anything interesting planned for the weekend?

The only thing interesting that I have planned, Tom, is taking care of Sophie Sunday. Her mama has to go to some training for CEUs to keep her massage therapy license current, and her papa has to sleep because he works nights. I think we are going to go out in G'Pa's workshop and do finger painting. That way we can spill and not worry about the floor!

Hope you get your truck back soon. I know you're itching to get all those goodies back onto it!

Tom, I don't think my weekend will be interesting, have to work once again. Maybe the BF will come up with something to do later on after I'm off.

Hope you get your truck by in time for the weekend. That way you have time to get it back to your liking.

I heard back on the truck. I will not have it until sometime next week. They are working with Chrysler engineers to determine what happened to it. They are leaning towards giving me a complete motor replace. That would be a brand new one. The service guy tells me they have them here in town in crates. I'll hear more tomorrow.

Liz made Grilled Salmon for dinner. Mmmm good.
