Sandi, you are winning the war in small steps! God bless you with strenght, insight, wisdom, fortitude, and peace. I know exactly the hunger you are talking about. When I became a Christian, I thought God would fill that space and when it didn't always work that way, I blamed my self for lack of faith. Now I know we still have a lot of baggage and stuff to go through before we can change whether it is spiritual or physical change. Celebrate your victories!! Also I have noticed that some of that hunger with me is biochemical-- I am on antidepressant (Cymbalta) for my fibro- taking that has helped some, and adding some supplements such as melatonin and HTP-5 (i think), eating more vegetables helps too, because I think our bodies know what they really need more than we give ourselves credit for. From my world view, I can say that God has given us the tools we need. Dear friend, you will make it through the rough spots-- look at all you have survived already!!! I am sure you didn't think you would make it. Now you will make it without self destructing in the process. I know you can do this, I am praying for you and your family, and I can't wait to listen and visit along the journey. Love, love, love, and hugs from New Mexico. Your friend in the wal= Oonagh/Susy

Thank you Suzy for stopping by. How is the fibro going?
Sometimes I am not sure I will make it. Next month will be the test.
and I am scared for some of it, dreading the other parts.

anyway
today isnt a good day, well it started off ok,
3 hb eggs
2 hot dogs and a salad
and supper was 3 sausages
I cooked them over night in the crock pot with watered down Ragu
But it must have had gluten in it or this brand of sausuage did,
cause now I am now in pain.
I havent cheated with gluten, at least knowingly for all of August.
This is a record for me. It used to get me so sick before, and yes I knew about all the things that would happen to me if I ate that bread or what ever. It didnt stop me.
So it is frustrating now to be in pain for something I didnt intentionally eat.
Last time I looked Rago was ok to eat. I didnt eat the sause per say, I rinsed the sausages off first, they just cooked in the sause.
Tomorrow I have alot of running around to do, Jace has PT at 10 am and Dentist at 3, and get Jess at 10 from school and a lot of stuff inbetween.
Good night

Hello again
Still in pain. Getting better slighty
I would love to know what had gluten in it,
It was ether the sauasages or the Ragu I cooked it in.
Ate eggs today, to give intestines a break
Might do the same tomorrow.
Went to get the kid from college today, and the *^*%^&%^ check engine light went on, yet again. I dont know how I can afford to fix the car now. It never ends and I am so tired of things going wrong all the time.
God, if your listening, I am waving the white flag today.

Going to bed now, have a good night

Sweetie, you did what you felt you needed to at the time, you did it with love, and with your sons' best interests at heart. Don't beat yourself up. Keep praying, keep on the road. You will find a way to overcome your weight and Financial problems. You are a strong and resourceful woman and you trust in the Lord. You have friends here too.

Not so tight pants is GREAT! You are reshaping what you are made of and where it is. I always notice more "cellulite" bumps when I'm losing, or about to go down, even though the scale says the same. Right now I am in a standoff with my scale-- its been so hard I am afraid I've gained all the weight back I lost and I don't want to feel that pain and discouragement. I've been avoiding it like the plague till I get back on induction. Silly! Enjoy your time with yourself, and the time with the boys. I am praying for you. Please, please, please, please never give up. You are helping ME so much and others as well, I am absolutely sure.
Love!

Sept 6th
Well got on the scale in am and was 345 AGAIN, seems all I do is move around 345, up a few ozes, down a few ozes. Now I have been this for 2 weeks (I think)
Its been very stressful here and all. BUt unlike the past, I have not cheated, if I cheated it was eating less, as I have not been hungry.
Well late AM I found TOM came to visit. I havent had that for 7 months or more, I figured it would come if I was gluten free/ lost weight, and it did. I didnt miss it. Maybe thats why I havent lost much this past week, I dont know.

Today I made stuffed peppers, it was sooooo good
I know I made the 20 carb allowance today
I fried the hamburger meat and added some onion, salt and pepper. Let it cool a bit.
Added some chedder to the mix and another cheese.
then I boiled the half cut peppers for 2 minutes
Then I patterd the meat into the half shells.
cooked. When they got out, I added a bit more cheese on top
was so good and so easy.
I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow, and a dinner for Jess when he works. Yea!

Lunch I had turkey slices and ranch and half a advocado

b/d my 2 hb eggs
