Hi Oonagh,

Glad to see you're back. The enchiladas sound soooooo good. I love them. You did really good not to eat the fried bread. Don't know if I could've smelled them and not had one. :-) Eating like everyone else sometimes is not the worst thing you can do especially if you show restrainst as you did.

I am sure you will look okay in the outfit you are planning. Please tell me, What is a "Tear Dress"?

Hanging in there by my toenails, but ok. I am stressed beyond belief with work and now we have to transfer someone to another school despite being so overcrowded, because the district is cutting staff. This is not good for anybody, my son's class will be getting 4-5 more kids in it from the one they cut.

Too much to do at home. Last night DH worked late and son ate with grandparents, so I had pork rinds and beef jerky for dinner. Yuck, I drank a bubbly green tea and burped little oinky burps all night. My stomach didn't care for it either. Since LCE I haven't had any acid reflux or problems at all except for one time when I went way overboard on the fiber and got gas... but I guess my limit on pork rinds is about 4, not four handfulls. I deserved what I got.
Wearing a shirt that was too tight and pants that wouldn't button last spring, so I guess I am doing ok. Will weigh tomorrow or Saturday. I will sing tonight and this weekend in church, so I HAVE to do LAUNDRY!!! Yuck. And clean up the messy kitchen, and etc. etc. Monday we are having a peer review of our school success plan and a big training, so i am trying to clean and organize here too, my assistant is really nice, but disorganized as me,and she always leaves right after school so I have to do it all myself. That is my worst time of day, I am a morning or night person, 2-4 is when i really just need to sleep.
Not too practical here in the US, but i did great in Italy, cuz everybody takes a nap then, lol.
I will reach my goal someday!!!
I got so depressed when I saw my picture from Constitution day, I looked as big as an Elephant dressed up in my RED WHITE and BLUE Cherokee shirt. I can only shudder to think how big I looked 50 pounds ago. I am trying to remember that the shirt didnt use to fit at all, and that the skirt was so big I nearly lost it in front of the whole school, I need to take up about 6 inches in the waist or put in new elastic or both. But seeing the WIIIIIIIIIIIDE me in pictures is really hard for me.

Luckily people keep stopping me in the hall to say I am looking better or that the clothes I am wearing are falling off. I told my friend to keep reminding me so I can forget that horrible picture and move onward.

Long, frustrating day. My poor babies in Kindergarten: I don't think anyone has ever talked to them, or asked them questions about things, or done anything except plop them in front of a pg 13 movie and 24 hour cartoons. They seem so lost in the world around them. More than half of my students had never sat down at a table to eat a meal until they came to school. Somehow I don't think they are going to get the idea from the school cafeteria either, lol. They eat in the car, wandering through the house, on the floor in front of the tv. Not just my lower economic kids or migrant kids either, the middle and upper class are the worst except they do go out to eat at restaurants, so they have sat at a table.
I don't know why I am complaining here, its not exactly locarb. Well, I made myself actually warm up my meat and veggies and sit at a table and eat it. The biggest effect I noticed was that I wanted to go home and take a nap, maybe thats why I never sit down to eat unless im working. lol.
Wore another pair of pants that surprised me today, elastic waisted corduroy "old lady school teacher pants"- which I could barely pull over my big belly last spring. They kept falling down all day and I felt like a bag lady. In a good way, lol. My underwear is all so big I am having to wear pants, that way when it falls down, I only have to deal with an embarassing underwear roll in my jeans instead of it dropping out of my skirt. Gotta go shopping but I don't have the money, lol. DH says "Do your laundry", but I think I should just throw all the too big undies away instead of washing them and having them fall off. I think one weeks worth of spankin new fitting undies would be better than piles of the big stuff, lol. Maybe tomorrow I will have time to run to Sams club or Kmart. Don't want a big investment here, cause I am fully planning for these to fall off in a month or so.

Thanks Phat
Well, the most exciting part of my day was going to Sams and buying two packs of new undies. LOL I am back in a single digit size, although the underwear size thing has always thrown me. When I wore a size nine jeans, i went and bought size 9 undies, which would have fit me and a hippopotamus back then. Now I was glad to be in a 9. Why don't they just say the pants size? Oh well, I am astonished by sizes now anyway, I hear they moved them down again. I got a catalogue which reassured me that the old 5x was now 3x, and that 1x is now a large. That sure made ME feel skinny, NOT. All I know is that depending on brand i wear 4 different shoe sizes, 5 different pants sizes and 6 different top sizes, Dresses and undies are even wierder. I never figured out the old blouse thing what's a 431/2 measuring anyway? Now theres XL and XL Womens and plus and supersized... I think I would buy men's jeans if they would fit. Back when I used to go shopping with my dad, he would take me to the boys dept and buy me 2 pairs of blue jeans, a package of 6 white tee shirts, 6 pairs of white socks boys of course and 6 pairs of tighty whiteys. Yep, with the fly. Easy to wash, easy to match, and perfectly suitable for horseback riding, helping out, welding, digging in the dirt, and jumping off the roof. lol. Then I got boobs and it ruined the whole deal. lol
Have a great day yall, I am in heaven cuz my new pink undies fit great!!!

I live to amuse.......:O
Unfortunately its true. When my grandma died i lost the one person I could ALWAYS make laugh. Sometimes she almost wet her pants, Lol. After YEARS of training, my DH is finally starting to get it. :O Love you all for your support. Yep, my pants fell off yesterday walking out of choir rehersal, not just plumbers butt, but down to my knees as I grabbed. Need to find a belt or rob a bank. Hope everyone has a great week. i just got an email that my whole life at school will be rearranged in about 24 hours, After months of planning and weeks of doing I get to start all over with an almost completely new class. Sigh. No carbs for me tomorrow-- I think I will try the fat fast thing for a day or two just to try and go down another ten pounds so i feel MEAN and TOUGH..

that must have been a sight, seeing your pants fall down.
I hate belts and I refuse to buy new pants, so I use a shoe lace and tie the 2 loops together.
and i do that till there is no more loops to tie together and then I will buy new pants lol.
Sorry about the school thing, why would they do that now??
Thanks for caring, hugs

The ways of administrator are closed to such as I, lol, but there is a reason, we are cutting staff AGAIN and so we are trying to move people so we don't have to fire anyone at OUR school. I will have a few less students, so maybe its good. Others will have more, ...

Fortunately, I was the only Witness except the Almighty, he probably laughs with me and at me on a regular basis. I hate belts too.
I was going to ask you what size you wear, maybe I have something that will fit you in my MULTI sized closet. Could you believe that 2 pks of undies, 3 tank tops to layer and a pkg of socks for DH were 49.00$. That was the super cheap price at Sams Club. People buy single pairs of panties that cost more than my whole supply, lol, but i get the super pack for cheapo.

My newest outfit, shrank in the wash. I ran to a discount store and boutht one new thing when i started losing wt. This morning I flipped when it was the right size, cuz id already shrunken out of it. Then i weighed and Im down 4 more lbs, and about 40 since i bought the darn thing, so PHEEEEW, huge sigh of relief, it really did shrink. For a sec I thought I had woken up FAT as i was before.
Hard day today already, but I lucked out, the guy who was going to interview me from the state just stood in the doorway a while and observed, then intereviewed someone else.

Forgot my lunch so ate almonds and water. Does that count as a fat fast meal?
Have a great day gals. I love you all!

Hi
wow terrific about not being inteviewed~~

I am not sure what size I wear, I wear the same thing all year, polo shirt and jeans and in the winter, a flannel shirt. 4x is the shirt, some are 5 as I like it really, really loose. Jeans I dont know, but I know I hate this pair but they are not used up enough to buy another pair and I am not down enough to deserve it.
I just need more shoe laces lol.

Dont be so busy that you forget about you, ok
hugs

Hey yall,
I am trying to lose another ten pounds so I can go shopping in the far back of my closet. I wore a dress today that has been in there since my son was born six years ago. The kids liked it because it is hot pink, orange, golds, and purple in kind of a floral pattern. They always want me to wear BRIGHT colors. I am sure glad I have some clothes to fit down into because there is no money to buy more.
My problems at school are slowly being resolved, but it takes a huge toll on my energy and family life. For example, eating lowcarb is hard without preparation in advance: I;ve had almonds and cheese for lunch for two weeks because I fall into bed without packing a lunch and rush off to work without breakfast. BAD BAD BAD for the day.

Going to work to get caught up then dash home and TRY to do at least 2 loads of laundry and cook, clean before i fall into bed tonight. I have to be ready to completely redo my classroom and lists, bus info, etc.etc.etc. before Monday morning. I dont want to work all weekend because I want to go to the fair and to church. Maybe I can get up the energy to get it all done after school today and tomorrow.
I KNOW that proper nutrition and adequate meals are the key to keeping up with such a horrible work load and schedule, but I am not doing too well at it this week. Thank goodness "grandma cathy" had us over for supper last night, so I got to eat pot roast and roasted squash, peppers, and carrots. I didn't even worry about the extra carbs in carrots and onions, it was soooooooo nice to eat a balanced meal.

Today: breakfast: slice of cheese.
Lunch: slice of cheese, handfull of almonds, and waater.
Unexpected snack: my asst. brought me a little cup of redchile with meat when she went to eat her burrito. It was spicy and good and improved my attitude quite a bit. She also brought a diet coke, which I really try to avoid. I'm sipping it slowly now, i probably wont finish it, but with broken ac, it feels great.
Not enough water today or yesterday, will CHUG all evening to try and catch up.
Supper: more meat and veggies.
Have a great day!!
Sandi, thanks so much for always stopping in to check on me.
Hugs and kisses to you.
