| I really feel like if I could just get three solid days of really strict low-carbing done, the boost from getting into ketosis would keep me going after that. But I have been having trouble with 1) dinner and 2) alcohol. Eating out and eating with S. are both challenges, but come on. There's always something that I can eat - it's just that I choose the wrong thing, for no good reason other than that happens to be my impulse at the moment. I have to remember about not trading what you want right now for what you *really* want. What I really want is a strong, fit body that I can feel proud of. Right now, I'm happy with my calves and with the endurance that I've built up for running - but I want to be faster, sleeker, stronger. When I run my half-marathon in September, I don't want to be trailing along at the back of the pack out of sight. I'm not going to come close to my potential until I shed some of this fluff. The alcohol - maybe it's time to do another 30, but I really don't want to. *sugh* For right now, I think the goal will be two DAFT days a week. I'm also going to print out my training schedule and keep it on the fridge and here at work on the wall.
