I checked out Greer Childers book, Be a Loser, and was intrigued by this theory. I have been practicing the breathing.

I did try the Lion, and the Ugly Face. I feel kind of weird doing each of these 4 times. Are these exercises the same on the tapes?

I am going to keep at it, it just feels strange to hold my breath and do these things. LOL. Can I hear more about how ya'll feel doing this?

I had the book years ago. I'm just doing what I can remember from it and the information I gleaned from a body flex message board.

I'm still waiting for my copy from the library!

You can read the topic "Body Flex" to learn more of our success stories. It is near the top of the list here in this forum.

Well I got indoctrinated BUT GOOD today! I got my tapes from eBay at work yesterday and today when the house was ALL MINE I viewed first the instructional tape, and after 20 minutes of LMAO, put in the workout tape. Laughter ceased immediately! Wow, that's amazing stuff. I can tell I'll feel it tomorrow. I liked it though.

Afterwards, with all that OXYGEN in my system, I was encouraged to go work out on the CrossBow for a while and THEN, on the stationary bike...somebody STOP me! LOL!

Yeah, Char, I think the laughing really gets your oxygen level up there fast!!!

It is amazing what that breathing will do for you - and the lion and the ugly face are certainly on the tapes. She is very earnest about doing them - and gosh is she skinny!

Hi guys,
I didn't do my BF today or yesterday. I find it to hard to do on the weekends when my family is home. I don't have a VCR in my bedroom so I have to BF in the family room. Thank you...no!

I know that I've done this so much, that I could do it without the tapes, but I like to have it on. (excuses, excuses)

Good for you Char!

How is everyone else doing?

C'mon Jen, we can do it without the tape - Sharron is!

I've decided I have to learn it without the tapes so I can do it on the weekend - kids are way too fascinated with what I'm doing!!!

I have to get started doing mine without the tape. It's just too much to try and "hide" from everyone when I'm doing it. LOL

That'll be a good goal for the week: do my BF tapeless! (No, not topless.) HEEEEE.

Oh no! More NEKKED body flexers......

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

I did mine the best I've ever done it yesterday. The Lord touched my lower abs on Sunday and I now have control over those muscles again for the first time in 5+ years! It was cool to feel it and that I was doing it right!!!

How's everyone else doing????

PPPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!

hi everyone, I've been lurking around this Body Flex thread (1 &2) and I am TOTALLY INTRUIGED! I know the powers of isometric breathing, and I'm assuming it is encouraging that with some sort of movements--"ugly face" "not doing them when family is around" I am SO curious NOW!
So I had to ask-- book or video or both?

I HAD the book at one time. Now I'm doing it with nothing...

Now, Bon, I don't mean NEKKED!

Seriously, I'm still waiting on the book from the library!

PAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!

Hi guys! I did mine today. 30 minutes and I didn't use the tapes! Did it totally from memory and actually found that I did it better and held my breath longer then while following Greer. I guess I was trying to breath when she did and hurry up and move to the next one. I feel so liberated!

Hi Gia! I like the tapes (or did) when I started. I am a visual type and needed to "see" the moves being done. I don't know if I could do it with just the book. It is your call, but by all means, please come join us!

Congrats again Sharron on your fabulous healing!

My question is which positions you all do and how may reps. I was doing 10 positions for 3-4 reps and my results are consistant but slow and I wanted to know if I did 3-4 positions with 8 reps, would that help me to see quicker results. Thanks Angel
