The one mile tape is about 20 minutes; the 2 mile 40 minutes, and the 3 mile, about an hour.

The great thing about these workouts is that they are easy to do, and Leslie (who leads the workouts) is great encouragement.

I would definitely recommend the "Walk away the pounds 'express' series."

Thanks! I am heading to Amazon now! Think I'll just start with the 1-mile. I do have my own dumbells, which I think will work. They are 3 pounds each.

Alida I hope you like them. For me, the one mile is a workout. It may not sound like much but it is one mile more than I was doing before. I also like the fact that I can do it in my home. I am not able to use weather as an excuse. The dumbells will work. They even show a modified version of each move if you want to get into it slowly.

Well I did it again! I came home from dinner and popped in the DVD and started to WATP!!! I can't wait until I feel ready to move on to the two mile. I think I may try it after a couple of weeks.

Hmm Watp may be the answer for rainy days! But I enjoy walking outdoors in nice weather and my dog wouldn't enjoy the tape nearly as much as walking around the lake. LOL But there are a lot of winter days that are just too D***ed cold to walk. How much is the dvd?

The set I got, if I remember correctly, was around 25.00. I got it on Amazon. You could probably pick it up at Walmart for less. I like the set because it has 1, 2 & 3 mile options. I got the set that features the weighted balls. I use 2 pound hand weights and they seem to work just fine.

Tonight - I will finally have an evening to WATP! Fitting in the exercise now that everyone is back on the "school" schedule - Play practices, show choir, Girl Scout meetings etc - is proving to be difficult. I just have to commit to fitting it in when and where I can!

Hey Glo, I was pleasantly surprised to find a thread for WATP! I had mentioned to the gals over in the Curves Bunch, that I was going to start a WATP to see if anybody does this. How cool! I'm planning to start tomorrow.

Rob, I bought one DVD at Sam's and picked up a different set at Target. I think most places have them. It's good to see you here, after all....You Da Man!

OK guys, we CAN do this!

Susie - So glad you can join us. I did the tapes for about 5 days and then life came crashing in. Right now I am just trying to find what time will work for me. Mornings are out of the question - I am up at 5am as it is and I barely have time to get myself together plus get the kids out to the bus stop on time. Evenings have gone crazy this week - something every single night of the week. This weekend is filled with Girl Scout stuff and next week is my vacation - whew I will need one after this week. I am going to have to get serious about exercise - doc says I have high blood pressure 140/90. Not good - she says any kind of exercise I can do will help. I guess I can't look at it as optional anymore.

Hi everyone,
I have had the WATP for ABS tapes for over a year and JUST started them this week. I LOVE them and can not believe it took me so long to start using them. Leslie is great and it is so easy! I reccomend these videos to anyone who needs/wants to start excercising with something simple and easy. I am glad I found this thread with others who are enjoying WATPS.

~~girl~~ You have inspired me to get back on track with my WATP! I keep telling myself I have to get serious with it but so far I haven't been listening to myself LOL. Now is the time - no more excuses.
