Go Glo!!!!!!!!!!

I have a set of 3 of these tapes...1,2, and 3 miles...I love them especially when the weather is not optimal...now I have no excuse for not getting my walk in! Plus she adds in some upper body movements, which we tend to ignore when walking outside, that makes the walk even more effective.

Enjoy!!

Ok - I must confess that I haven't started. I got home on Wednesday feeling under the weather. This morning I finally feel better. Got to start today! I love the tapes. I have all three too. I love the upper body work out. I couldn't imagine doing those things walking around the neighborhood LOL. I love how you get going a bit faster and you don't even realize it. Today is the day for a new start on exercise for me!

Glory -
I'll join with you. I need to have the cardio now that I am doing weight at gym, and probably won't be going to Curves for a few weeks.
so, I'm starting today (again) too.

I've started out slowly too Glory. This weekend I walked the one mile round trip to the store. Last eyar when I was pregnant I walked it all the time but I haven't done the walk since I got my car July 03. I walked it pushing the stroller and had to sit for a while at the store but I did it. Afterwards I felt tired but great. Today I didn't go as far but I did get out and walk. That's the big part for me, getting motivated to get out there.

I know that the exercise will make the pounds come off quicker and get me in better shape but sometimes I just don't care.

Now if I can just keep up at least getting out a little each evening I'll be doing good. But honestly I am right now shooting for four times a week. Both weekend days and two evenings during the work week.

Don't kick yourself - put your kicks to good use with Leslie as you walk and kick tonight with the one mile tape

I have never heard of these tapes. What do you do? Walk "in place"? Do you need a lot of room? Thanks!

You walk in place, move from side to side, do small kicks and knee lifts. You don't need a lot of room at all, and Leslie Sansone (who has about 40 of these videos/dvds) is easy to follow. The tapes come in 1,2,3 and 4 mile increments, and each set has something a little different. There's one that you walk with weighted balls, one with an ab belt (don't recommend this set at all), etc., etc.

Alida - they are very doable and fun. I got the set that has 1, 2, 3 mile workouts. Right now I am only doing the one mile. You don't need alot of room. What I like is that if you need to you can stop doing some of the moments and just walk in place. The beat of the music increases and you don't even realize it. I got my set from amazon.com. I don't have the weighted balls. I use my hand weights and it seems to work fine. Let me know if you get them and how you like them.
