| Hi Sheyla, I was told if you're going to eat not to workout directly afterwards. The body needs energy to digest the food and while you're working out, you want to use your energy burning away fat. |

| I usually wait an hour after eating to exercise or I will feel bloated afterwards. If I'm really hungry before a workout I will eat a small handful of nuts for a protein boost and the fat usually takes the edge off my hunger till I'm done. HTH!

Although this response is a few months after your initial post, I just wanted to comment. If you are working out for a shorter duration - such as 30 or 45 minutes - you really do not need to fuel your body before as you will not run out of "fuel" during the exercise session. If you are exercising for durations that start to approach and pass the 2 hour mark, you will need to fuel "during" the exercise session to avoid bonking. Jim |

| Generaly, you should wait at least 2 hours after eating before you exercise. |
