I am lucky-our curves is opening normal time on Fridays 6:30AM so i'm off to the gym in 30 min. I did breakdown yesterday and had not only a sliver of pumpkin pie but a piece of chocolate cake-I know I know. But, couldn't have been too bad-down another .5 this morning. I will have to work extra hard at the gym today and watch myintake for a day or two.
Hope everyone had a good holiday. I will get plenty of excercise today-I am painting my dining room so the up and down will be good for me. The bedroom is sunday. Need a change of pace in this dreary weather.

Dreary Weather!!! WE had 13 days of heavy clouds and overcast weather........ Lights on to go to work, lights on to come home....... rain and more rain. Yesterday was the first time we have see sunshine in so long that everyone wanted to go outside. Right now, it's not even full light, but the stores are already crowded. DD and DH left at 6:00 this morning to try to find a deal on a TV. I'm out for my walk (AKA shopping) in just a few minutes.

Franfrog, that's GREAT you lost some BF!!!! WTG!!!!

Tina, sounds like you'll work that pie and cake off in no time.

Judy, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! That is wonderful!!!! When's the wedding......have they set a date??

We got a LOT of snow weds night. I went to Hobby Lobby, which is only about 10 mins from my house. It took me 45 mins to get home, during rush hour and blizzard-like conditions. It was SCARY!!!!! Yesterday was bright and sunny. It hurt the eyes, what with all that bright white everywhere. We certainly had a white T-giving, it was our FIRST snow-fall of the season.

I will set my alarm to get myself to Curves tomorrow. I HAVE to work off the tastes of high carb stuff I had at T-giving. (didn't do too badly tho)

Looks like the wedding will be early next fall. The decision is dependent on her finishing her MBA in August, getting the church, and getting the country club. Right now a date for both the church and country club is pretty much the deciding factor.

Well, no curves again today.......... I think I'll work on more power walking (or is that power shopping?)

Oh Judy, fall weddings are soooooo pretty!!!!!

LOL @ power walking.........or power shopping!!!

YAY, I made it to Curves this morning. I set my alarm, but woke up before it went off. So I got up and got ready to go right away, didn't even eat anything first or have my cup'o'tea. I bypassed my diningroom table where I am busy crafting miniature birdhouses for my Christmas tree. We set up our tree yesterday, all red and white. It's all NEW stuff this year, lots of fun and really pretty. Gonna work on it some more today.

LOL Judy, sure the weather has a lot to do with if we go or not...........sometimes. Although, I find that when it's really chilly, I look forward to going and getting my blood circulating and warming up. It really feels good on these chilly days to get in there and get my body moving.

I went in yesterday and really worked the machines hard. Felt good.

Something tells me that cold to me might be chilly at best to you. We had our first freeze last night. I wore a coat to school this morning and as it turned out, I was really glad. Some fool pulled the fire alarm and we had to stand outside for 20 minutes. Normally I avoid wearing a coat if at all possible. Good call today though, I'd say.

Curves? didn't go yesterday, did go today. My achilles (sp?) tendon is really sore. I'm sure that comes from my sporatic attendance the last couple of weeks.
