| Find a time in your day..it can be lunch, morning, afternoon whenever..that you can "force" in a few extra minutes of something...I chose after work...I have a child that is too young to leave at home by herself to get ready for school and I would have to leave at about 5:15--way too early to get her up...but I can go right after school and since she has swimmig lessons 2X a week at 4:30-5:30 and one half hour on Saturdays I can work out during those times...I also moved her daycare/after school care to theY so I have no excuse to go there every day to pick her up...which also means that I have no excuse not to get a workout in at least 5X a week...yes it does have an expense to it as well which is even more motivation to use what I am paying for! She swims while I do every day even when she doesn't have a lesson so she is getting exercise too! I am going to have to start lifting weights and that is going to take some more "time" but I will fit that into that swim and workout time too...DD just may have to stay at afterschool care a half an hour longer...adn I will ahve to cut my swim time down to half an hour each time...but it will work out...

| tues: ran 3 miles (in 30 mins), biked 30 mins, lifted biceps, jump rope sets. was totally wiped out!! |

| Swam agian today...did my 1200 then another 100 just for good measure...I am a bit sore...tomorrow off will be good for me!

| Last time i posted was the 12th, so Water aerobics 13th, 15th, 18th and 20th. Water volleyball on the 15th also Swam at least 1/2 mile on the 14th, 16, 17, 19 looks like a lot when you forget to post your workouts... c

| It does, doesn't it...but daily exercise is daily exercise! Thursday is my day off! I got a haircut and DD did too...then she got a new pair of jeans off the clearance racks!

| swam 1/2 mile and 30 min water aerobics and toning, today was 10 days in a row with exercise, taking the weekend off (maybe do a tape), but have to be out of town both days, so won't be able to get to gym c

| After reading the good advice given here in this forum, I got my butt outa bed this am and got my exercise in before work. Felt good to get it in. Abs and weights ....lat raises...bench...military...curls...gonna ad some rows in eventually.

| I am so excited...while I can't run 3 miles yet...I can do the inverted hang on the parallel bars! I can hold all 161lbs of me perfectly upside down and in a pike position too. I can do cartwheels on the balance beam--it has been about 15 years since I did one of those, I can stand on my head and my hands, I can do skin the cat, birds nest and hip rollovers on the bars as well. I still can't stand on my knees and bounce myself to my feet, even on the vault I can't get my feet through fast enough to land on my feet, but in time that will come too! Ic an standing long jump over 7 feet and I am pretty darned sure a year ago that was more like 2 or 3. I spent most of today doing gymnastics things alone in my gym! I am really sore but I had a great time...oh, yeah, dive rolls off the springboard are as fun as when I was 10 too! After work, I swam 1250 yards...get this.......drumroll please........in 29 minutes and aobut 15 seconds! I was amazed...next thing is the mile as fast as I can...just to see how fast that might be! I was exhausted tonight...so tired I was shaking, but I was working pretty darned hard all day too...so not sure if it was just swimming or if it was all day's workout!

| 1000 yards today...I am so sore I could hardly swim the first couple of hundred but I did loosen up some but not nearly enough...WOW, who'd have thought a few tricks on the gymnastics apparatus would leave me so sore I could barely function...but it was fun! I am excited too...I will be helping coach DD's swim team starting in February.

| sat in car on saturday and sunday, today i couldn't get up, tomorrow and wed will be out of sorts - having my chemo port taken out. yeah.....so I can't do water for about a week after that, will probably have to do tread mill, and maybe some of my tapes I have. c
