Hi gang! Good to see the posts!

I'm starting out a little slowly after a 4 month layoff. Did 50 crunches and 20 pushups yesterday. Boy do I have a long way to go. . Even had to do pushups in 2 sets of 10 sheesh!

Swam 1200 yards yesterday in about 40 minutes...being away from working out basically for 2 1/2 weeks was a really bad idea...now it is taking a long time tog et back into some kind of shape and I didn't think I would lose it that badly over just a couple of weeks.

Did some crunches and pushups again. Then added some chest crushes with this bar with a spring in it and a set of bicep curls. I know it's not a lot but it's progress. Having a tough time getting started, but really glad to be working out again.

Good going you guys!

I don't get to workout again tonight--pisses me off., but hey, whta can you do about the military except put up with them and do what they want you to...I have to be at a Volunteer recognition ceremony for my husbands unit...I am being recognized...even though I haven't turned ino ne single hour of vonunteer time--I don't necessarily volunteer to build a resume or to get recognized..I do it because it needs done...no one gets this I guess!

sorry about your schedule conflict, lori. that can be so annoying. i hate it when life gets in the way of my workouts!! LOL!
i have a similar situation today ... have to go to a friend's place in the burbs for a party after work ....
so i had to get up early (grrrr, not happy) to go to the morning body pump class. mostly weight lifting, little cardio. but that's good ... i need to not be so obsessive about my program sometimes.
