May Exercise Accountability

"Just-Do-It Exercise Club" at Low Carb Diet Support: "700 yards...boy am I ever out of shape...my arms would like to fall off...thank god they are attached firmly at the shoulder...or I may have lost one tonight...I will swim again tomorrow then Tuesday again ...."

Gotta get back int o shape and start making progress instead of treading water again...

thurs: day off
fri: ran to the gym (1.6 miles), 30 mins bike, 30 mins elliptical, lifted triceps, ran home from the gym (again, 1.6 miles).

Swam 800 yards today...Sun/MOn off then I will be swimming Tuesday through Friday working back up to 1600 yards a day...going to try to do 1600 a day 5X a week all summer

Thumbs up May Exercise Accountability

40 minutes elliptical and will be heading out to the gym again for swimming with my 6 year old. If anyone has any elementary students at home they know just how much exercise I am going to get! With my 1 year old at home he gives me a good workout too!

65 minutes elliptical = 750 calories burned! Plus I did probably 2 1/2 hours of cleaning today. 1 hour of Tai Chi before going to bed. What a day! Hope everyone had a healthy day and a good Memorial Day tomorrow!

mon: walked to gym, 30 mins bike, ran 2.25 in about 20 mins, 20 mins elliptical, lifted legs, some ab work.

Default May Exercise Accountability

Today I didn't do much exercise. It has been my only day off from exercise in I don't know how long. All I've been doing today is cleaning which is better then no activity...scrubbing floors, vacuuming, dusting...the works. I will be doing Tai Chi again before I go to bed as I slept wonderfully! I can't wait to get weighed in tomorrow since I've done good since last weigh in Friday. 4 days without knowing if I lost is driving me crazy. Hope to post a good loss or any loss for that matter tomorrow! Pray for me!

I did grocery shopping, dry goods shopping and kitchen cleaning today...does that count??? anyway...will get back to the pool tomorrow morning sometime...now that I can do that in the mornings...YEAH!!!

Week of recap:
thursday water aerobics 1 hour, jazzercise 1 hour,
friday - day off
sat - water aerobics 1 hour, water volleyball 1 hour
sunday swim - 60 laps (3/4 mile) and 15 min of toning
monday day off
today water aerobics 1 hour, jazzercise 1 hour
today will be last day of jazercise, we will be just doin tapes during lunch for
anyone that wants to do it... instead of spending 25 per month for the instructor we will do it on our own....
fine with me
vacation starts on friday, will probably try to walk more each day on vacation and swim each day....

I did 45 minutes on the elliptical machine today. I plan on going to a ball game later and usually have to run after my one year old the whole time so I should get in plenty of exercise today - lol!

I didn't go down in weight after this weekend but my clothes are saying different. I've incorporated Tai Chi back and I can feel my legs toning up from it. I'm losing fat and gaining muscle! Yippee! Plus I did so much exercise this weekend that that with all the extra muscle I'm building I read that it increases calorie burning! Can't beat that! I bet next weigh in Wednesday and then Friday will be especially good this week!

Swam 900 yards today...tomorrow it will be 1000...going to try to get 1200 in 5X a week all summer...or most of it anyway!

Everyone is so dedicated on this site! It is great to see how everyone keeps pushing themselves to the next level.

Today I did 61 minutes on the elliptical machine and felt really good. I'm going to rush off to the shower now because I have a lot of appointments today and then off to church tonight to get some spiritual exercise in. Gotta give the soul a workout as well as the body!
