Joyce, Please don't take this the wrong way but you have to read the atkins book. Inside it is a section called ongoing weight loss or OWL it will explain all you need to know. Sure people here can give you advice but you really need to do your homework and read the book. And read it again if you need to. I've been doing Atkins for almost a year now and I still have to go back to the book once and a while to keep on track. There is also so much infomation here at LCE you just have to look around and try the search tool you may find the answer to what your looking for in an old thread .

Welcome to the boards.

Ed

Ditto what Ed said.

Atkins (or any low-carb) plan is a do-it-yourself project. You have to figure out how it works best FOR YOU, beginning with the principles and guidelines provided by Dr. Atkins in his book. Keep it handy.
