June Exercise accountability

fri: well, i felt back to normal today ... maybe b/c it is i ran earlier in the day? or maybe diet or hormones, whatever. anyhoo, ran 6.5 miles - felt strong and fast. walked on an incline after that for a while. no time for lifting.

sat: ran 6.5 miles (felt good again), biked intervals, lifted back muscles.

sun: went to bally's gym as a guest w/ BF since we were out in the burbs ... ran 6.0 miles (treadmill felt WAY different than i am used to and the run felt very difficult), biked 15 mins intervals, lifted shoulder muscles.

Sat water aerobics 1 hour, water volleyball 1 hour
sunday 1 hour water volleyball.

Swam 3/4 mile this morning and then did 20 min of water exercises - got in 1 hour today ( i have been slacking off on my exercises since my vacation, but have re=started getting it back in today)

Tuesday leg workout. Squats, deadlifts and lunges. Mixed in some ab work too.

water aerobics for 1 hour this morning, tonite is water volleyball (just started on thursday nights so I can get in three hours of water volleyball per week...)

hello there!
wed: ran about 6.25 miles, biked 15 mins intervals, and lifted biceps.
thurs: out of town on business, but i managed to run for 65 mins on the crappy hotel treadmill. it is SO HUMID in ohio right now, i sweated more than i ever have in my life!! it was crazy .... felt like death when i finished.

Thursday, upperbody day. Lot's of pulls, pushes and twists. Some ab work too.

Upper body today. I"m doing a new split routine so it's upper body 2 days a week and legs the other day. Feeling good!

gregg, yeah i try to go for 7 miles whenever i'm feeling especially energetic. your new routine sounds cool ... are you following a certain book or something?

sun: not much time today, but i ran 6.3 miles in 60 mins and then walked to 6.5. bumbed up my incline a bit more than usual.

Leg day yesterday. Set new PRs in squats and deadlifts.

Carrie, my split is pretty basic. 3 w/o per week, legs one day and upperbody the other 2 days. But as a matter of fact it is straight out of "New Rules" by Schuler and Cosgrove.
