Thursday I did a killer spinning routine, where we got off the bike on intervals and did squats!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today after lunch, I bought my PT clothes back to work with me. I am going to the gym right when I leave here. My dinner is in thr fridge, so I have no reason to go there. I plan on doing 45 minutes of aerobics and abs today

Howdy everyone! I'm hoping to renew my gym membership this sunday and go swimming with the kids. Until then the roads are just not safe enough to drive on so I'm working on getting in 17,000 steps a day on my pedometer. Today I did a lot of internet surfing and walking in place and cleaning around the house to get there. My dh did drive us to Wal-mart where he bought me my new laptop I'm on - woo hoo! Glad to be back and on this thread which always motivates me. Keep up the great work everyone!

That was nice of DH and aren't those pedometers great BJ. I wish had one now that I am deployed and walk everywhere. Friday I did 1 hour of aerobics 45 mins on the eliptical machine and 15 mins on the treadmill(6.0 - 8.5) incline. Tonight is the spinning class from Thursday. My roommate is not going she says she's still sore from Thursday. I told her to workout yesterday. Tommorow is my rest day

Kameron - You did incline!! My sister and I will do the treadmill together and she does the incline speed walking while I prefer running. I think that she has the harder workout as I try inclining and it really works the calf muscles. Great to hear that you have a roommate who will exercise with you. Have a good workout and a nice day off tomorrow.

Well I didn't go to the gym on Sat because of some health issues and then on Sunday I let the day get away from me. It was so nice and we sat outside and got to know the girls who live in the room next to us. Then we had to go to 7:00 chapel service, I was gonna go after that but got delayed. Those details I can't discuss!!!! Soooo....am going at lunch. Plan on going to get lunch and leaving it in the room. I will do 45 minutes today as I have nothing planned after lunch. Tomorrow is the killer spin class and before that a new abs class they are starting. Well I'm just going to keep on keeping on. Trying to lose 2lbs per week while I'm here. Oh and BBJ, I love the incline. I do a running thing I got from self for about 25 minutes then I plan on putting it down to a 3.0 speed with an incline starting at 6 and then just walk to the music. The music really helps. Once I get going I don't want to stop

It is hard to keep up with you all. You are all amazing exercisers! Instead of my gym membership that I purchase yearly (and haven't been able to go because of car problems, weather and watching the kids...) I decided to get home exercise equiptment so none of this will be an issue anymore. My in-laws are giving me FREE weight training equiptment since they got a bow flex!! I also bought a super nice elliptical that is going to be delivered on Thursday - woo hoo! My favorite machine at the gym is the elliptical. I also decided to get Suzanne Somers 2 different thigh masters and they are well worth it. I got a pamplet that does total body and my legs are more sore then when I do weight training at the gym on all those fancy machines! I've been so excited about shopping tonight for my home gym that I paced the day away in my little apartment and have...18,000 steps on my pedometer tonight!! My sister and I always made arrangement for Saturdays to use her bowflex together. 2 days a week I can do weight training on my own and then get another wonderful workout there! Things just seem to be working wonderful. Been so depressed not being able to get to the gym because I babysit a little girl when the gym opens. Then at night I want to spend time with my family but travel out to the gym. It was go great to weight train tonight and laugh and watch tv with the family. Sorry to go on and on but I'm so excited as you can tell!

muscles are sore from going to the gym on sunday, doing weights, and having up weigts by 5 lbs each....Gonna try to get in the gym by 5:30 tomorrow and do weights before I swim... need to get in at least 3 times per week.

I'll miss my gym time too Carolyn. It felt like I was losing a friend as I've been going there for 2 years. I've gone there to work of stress many of times but everything going on in my life where I can't get to the gym most days this is the only way that my weight is going to come back down. It's been trickling up without my daily exercise to help me out with extra calories that I do now and then. Can't wait until Thursday to get my new elliptical.

My body is so sore from the thigh master. My glutes hurt, my calves, my arms, my chest is even sore. My whole body feels like I did a good weight training workout thankfully. Hoping to have recovered by tomorrow so I can get another good workout in. Today to help with this recovery I'm just going to walk as much as I can (even if it is in the apartment) by walking around watching tv, marching while checking my e-mail, dancing with the kids a bit to get steps on my pedometer. Without the help of an hour of cardio it takes a lot of dedication throughout the day to make my pedometer goal.

hey everyone!
i am still keeping up w/ my workouts, but had the flu AGAIN and that set me back a bit. i've also just started south beach again ... so my energy level is zapped. haven't been able to run 6 miles the last few days - just trying for 4 miles and some biking, etc.
i'm going to try to start posting more regularly now. wedding date is about 8 months away and i'm going for a killer bride body!
