| Last night was 40 minutes on the treadmill alternating speeds every 4 minutes. Pretty sweaty by the time I was done!

| exercise day off today. wind is unbelievable, I have the headache from heJJ, along with stiff and sore shoulders from my upper body wt training I've started. I don't want to be a bad influence on anyone, but I'm also taking an eating *day off* as well. I'm in no mood to be messed with! LOL! happy trails...... s

| Lisa, I'm sorry you're having such difficulties! I hope you can find some way to get assistance. I got the ok from the surgeon to get back to biking and anything else I want to do as long as it doesn't hurt! So I put the bike in the truck and went to the nearby park to ride there. I figured I should keep things simple for a little longer. So I ended up with an 18 mile ride which made me very happy!

| hot, humid and horrid outside! Well...it's not as bad as it could be...the humidity is only 72%, but it's 79 degrees already. Definitely STBO on my walk just now!!! walked: 67 min/3.90 miles/213 cal burn/3.30mph avg sp Everyone have a safe and Happy Memorial Day weekend!!! happy trails......

| OK...it's REALLY hot, humid and icky-sticky this morning! Temp of 79 with humidity of 82%!!! took the path of least resistence this morning and walked instead of biking. walked: 62 min/3.56 miles/197 cal burn/3.33mph avgsp. happy trails......

| My workout today is babysitting 7 nieces/nephews (ages 5-10). They are little eating machines and I feel like I've been making food all day! I'm glad to say they are asking for egg salad rollups before chips! And they want fruit in a little while.

| After all the kids left, I did a half hour on the bike downstairs and I did my usual weights exercises for the first time since surgery. I did them all with lower weights but it felt good to do them!

| It got pretty warm before I could get out the door to go walk....ack! 87 degrees/91 heat index...STBO fer shure! LOL! walked 60min/3.28miles/190 cal burn/3.28mph avg sp happy trails.......

| After a day off yesterday I made up for it with 90 minutes on the elliptical, 30 minutes upper body weight training, a bit of walking on the treadmill and then some cleaning later. Will sleep well tonight! You walked in a temperature of 87! Shelley, nothing stops you. |

| walked 53 min/3.28miles/180 cal burn very humid, and actually started to rain, so I had to cut the walk a little short. Then when I got to my driveway, it started to let up. I was in no mood to dink with the humidity any longer, so I said to heck with it for today. Truth be told, I probably need to skip a day and let the leg muscles rest. Shoulder and neck still sore, so I'm not doing upper body weights right now. Kinda feel like a slug... good job to you to, Heather!!! You are a lean, mean, exercising maaaaachine!!! LOL! And I mean that in the nicest way! happy trails......
