Coffee December 08 exercise accountability

Thought I'd decorate the place up a bit....
Hope we all get goodies in our stockings!...and I'm NOT talking candy canes, either!

Yesterday was exercise day off, and I don't know about today yet.
It's pretty cold out, which I don't mind...it's the nasty N wind at 18-20MPH that is howling this morning that may keep me from walking.
If it gets better afterwhile, I'll hit the streets!

happy trails...

Hi Everyone! I survived the holiday with a workout every day! I had to skip the kettlebell workout on Thursday but other than that I got the usual workouts. Yesterday was a day off...

Today was weights and the recumbent bike. I've got less than 50 miles to go for my goal of 1000 indoor miles by the end of December!! Shouldn't be a problem unless I can't do my indoor biking for some reason!

Went early for my workout today. I did 20 minutes each on the cross trainer and the recumbent bike. I'll be doing the kettlebell workout later today...

I did a quick 5 miler through the snowy woods yesterday and again today. Shoveled the driveway yesterday. (ah, that is why my arms are sore today)

It is in the low 30's but at least the wind died down.

I've been busy doing Christmas decorations...it will most likely take me till Christmas to get them done this year! I'm way behind so I may have to skip doing some of the usual decorating...we do every room with trees and decorations so it takes a few weeks to do it all!

wowzers, Linda! A tree in every room??? I'm not even putting up a one tree this year!
(my bad). It will just be DH and myself, since our DD and DGS won't be here until New Years, so mantle decorations will be it!

No fitness walking yesterday, today or tomorrow for that matter. Yesterday and today were shop-a-thons(I'm talking 3-4 hours each day!) and tomorrow I'll easily get in 3+ miles at work.

happy trails....

I actually have more than one tree in every room! But because I had such a late start this year, I'm not doing the trees that are downstairs. And I may skip a few of the smaller ones....it's a lot of work but I really enjoy doing it and everyone loves to see it!

I did 20 minutes each on the cross trainer and the recumbent bike today as well as a kettlebell workout.

Hope to hit the trail tomorrow.

Today was just the kettlebell workout....and tomorrow is a day off! I've been trying to keep it lighter on the weekends although a kettlebell workout isn't light! But it's the only workout so that's what counts.

I'm working on a new workout plan for after the holidays. Besides the fitness center I'm going to add back the rebounder and maybe some yoga. I haven't done either of them for quite a while and I'm ready to get back to them now that I'm used to going to the fitness center.

Also got in an hour of yard work and heavy duty raking before the wind got totally ridiculous!
a pretty darn good calorie burn of 228 cals. I'll take it!
