Feel better soon, Shelley...

I did weights yesterday and today was cardio - 20 minutes each on the cross trainer and the recumbent bike, both very intense.

I'm ready for winter to be done! I miss being outdoors!

well i haven't posted in a few weeks, but i've been keeping up w/ my exercise. here's the latest, at least what i can recall!

last tues: 15 min warm up on the bike, then met w/ a personal trainer! (my hub bought me six sessions as a treat). we did a consultation and then about 30 mins of legs. afterwards i did 30 mins of running intervals on the treadmill.

last wed: 46 mins of intervals on the upright bike, ran a quick half mile

last thurs: off for dog class

last fri: 15 mins running warm up and 60 mins w/ personal trainer (worked legs, back, rear deltoids, shoulders, abs, and kept my heart rate up)

sat: ran 6.15 miles, varying speed and incline

sun: 15 min warm up on the gauntlet/stairmaster, then repeated the same workout as i did w/ the personal trainer on friday

mon: ABS were killing me from the fri & sun workouts!!! i mean, OH THE PAIN! ran 3.10 miles in 30 mins on treadmill and did 30 mins of intervals on the gauntlet/stairmaster. really felt it.

tues: 30 mins on gauntlet/stairmaster, then repeated half the workout that i did w/ the personal trainer last friday.

wed: today i plan to run about 4.0 miles and complete the abs portion of the trainer workout.

I kinda think it will be at least Saturday before our n-hood streets "defrost" enough for foot traffic....
In the meantime, the cat and I will continue to hold the sofa down...

Yesterday was weights in the morning and basement biking in the late afternoon.

Today will be cardio after lunch...cross trainer and recumbent bike.

It's good for you to get some rest, Shelley....hope you feel better soon!

I had a great weights workout this morning...not sure if I'll do anything else today or not. Lots of stuff to get done.
