Oooh, have fun with the Grandson, Shelley!!!

I did a short workout on the bike downstairs yesterday....we had a family get together in the afternoon so no time for a bigger workout.

Today will be weights and recumbent bike after lunch. I hope to get a bunch of cooking ahead today. I have been slacking on that and miss the ease of having prepared foods when I need them.

I think I need to jump in on this thread, hopefully it will help encourage me to get more exercise. I just got home from work so I haven't had much in the way of exercise yet. But I did get outside and walked on my breaks today. No lunch, just skipped that whole idea, decided the walk was well needed instead. Hopefully tonight I will get on the treadmill and do some ab workouts.

I did a lot of walking yesterday, a lot of work around here, but no other exercise then that. I was up early off and running, till about 8 last night when I finally sat down. Was down 2 lbs this morning so maybe all that running did help.

As soon as I'm done with my coffee this morning I am getting on my and get moving. Later on I will do my ab workout.

Have a good day ladies!

Did a 3 miler through the neighborhood. Now that all the snow is gone I was shocked at the amount of trash on the parkways. I picked up the stuff around my home. Hopefully others will do the same. Some of it looked like recycling that blew away, but most appeared to be stuff lobbed out of car windows. What slobs!!!

I thought I posted here yesterday....guess I just read and forgot to post! Duh!

I did some intense cardio Saturday and Sunday....today was weights and I'll add some basement biking later today. I asked DH to bring my rebounder up from the basement so I can use it more. I don't like to do the basement stairs any more than I have to and I don't like to do the rebounder and the bike together when I'm downstairs. I hope it will work out well!

Hi Shelly,
I too needed to join in with this thread of exercise to keep me going..my feet are killing me so I am started out the program of stretching exericese twice a day for 20 minutes each first and then going to work it back to Leslie Sansone walk tapes that work wonderfully. I am in hopes this support line with others will keep me motivated. Working with others who have the same problems I have will be encouraging. Enjoy your grandchild as I do mine because they do grow way to fast.

Welcome to the thread, Diane!
Do what you can tolerate and build up as you can; Leslie Sansone WATP is great! I also do them when the weather is to awful to walk outside.

this morning: walked 1 hr/ 3.78 miles/ 272 cal burn. (temp was 24 degrees/wci 19 degrees)
total fitness miles for January = 14.40miles

happy trails.....

Hi Diane, Glad to see yet another person joining in. I haven't gotten to the treadmill yet today, but I did get my walks in at work today. As soon as I finish up here I will go get my ab workout and then the treadmill.

Another woods walk today but it was snowing and the icy patches were hidden. I think I found most of them... Whoa!!! My arms kept flapping up.
