February 2009 exercise accountability

"Just-Do-It Exercise Club" at Low Carb Diet Support: "We're home and we went to do weights today! It was good to be back in the groove! Not sure if I'll be doing anything else today....started induction again so I don't want to overdo ...."

Happy Valentine's Day!

I did cardio yesterday and weights today....

Planning a nice quiet evening tonight...DH has to work so I'll be watching chick flicks and eating a steak with a cucumber side salad. DH isn't a steak eater so I usually have one when I know I'll be eating alone.

34 degrees/wci 29 N winds at 10-13mph when I walked this morning...a little brisk compared to our recent 68 degree days!

34 degrees w/ wci of 31 degrees E-NE wind at 2mph when I walked this morning Not bad at all! Walked before the BIG winds came in!! Yikes!!

Yesterday I tagged along to the fitness center with DH because he wanted to get a good workout before leaving today on a business trip. It was supposed to be a rest day for me so I just sat on the bike and pedaled lightly...kept my heart rate under 100 the whole time.. I figure a little extra light movement was better than just sitting on the couch!

Today I had to take DH to the airport and when I got back, I headed out for a workout...it is weights day and I had a good workout along with more bike time....I'm working on at least 100 miles a month and so far I've got just over 60 miles for this month...I need to get busy if I want to get the rest of the miles before the end of the month!

Today was cardio only...about 50 minutes between the cross trainer and the bike.

My legs are sore from added weight on the leg press yesterday...but it's a good sore so I won't complain too much! I know the muscles are working!

Yesterday did 40 min of strength training dvd and a quick 4 miler through the refrozen woods.

It is raining today....I may chance the mud or else stay on the sidewalk.

Well we had snow last evening and it is now 12....so I am bundling up yet again and heading out for a quick 4 miler. Prefer frozen mud over the smooshy stuff at least.

It's brrrrr here to, Lucy, but not as bad a brrrrrr as you have!
29 degrees w/ wci of 22; N-NW winds at 6mph when I walked. Not to terribly bad...I was sweating by the time I got home...LOL!

We had snow, too, and it's about 19 degrees..up from about 5 degrees this morning...I'm getting anxious for spring!

Today was cross trainer and bike....did intervals on the cross trainer and steady pace on the bike. I'm done for today!
