March 2009 exercise accountability

"Just-Do-It Exercise Club" at Low Carb Diet Support: "It wasn't so windy yesterday so I got another ride....a bit over 12 miles is all I had time for. I also did upper body weights... Today I did lower body weights/abs. Too cold for ...."

It wasn't so windy yesterday so I got another ride....a bit over 12 miles is all I had time for. I also did upper body weights...

Today I did lower body weights/abs. Too cold for a bike ride... I may do something more tonight but I'm a little tired so maybe I'll just call it a day...

I didn't feel like it at first but I went to the fitness center and did upper body weights and 20 minutes on the recumbent bike. Not sure if I'll do any workouts over the weekend or not.

I took the weekend off and then yesterday I did upper body weights.

Today I've started my new workout schedule! I did 20 minutes on the rebounder, went to the fitness center and did lower body weights and 20 minutes on the recumbent bike. Now it's time to do a kettlebell workout. I have a new kettlebell dvd to try.

Now that biking season is here, I'm going to be dropping the elliptical and the biking at the fitness center...will pick that back up next fall. Adding back in the rebounder daily, kettlebell workouts a few times a week and either yoga or stretching dvds to balance it all out. Sounds like a lot but most of the workouts are less than a half hour each. So lots of little things....I'm also looking into hoola hooping!

The new kettlebell dvd kicked my behind! It's more choreographed and it will take me a few times to master some of the moves but I like it. It was a reminder that although I work out a lot, when trying something different I'm still a beginner!

Today I did upper body weights and I hope to do rebounder tonight. I have to go clean carpets at my son's apt. building for new tenants moving in this weekend first. I'm going to be adding another new workout soon.....hoola hoop! I saw some sites with info on adult hoola hooping and it looks like a great workout! And fun! So I'm going to do it!

finally got to walk this morning; we have SLEET & SNOW forecasted for Friday and Saturday!!! BOO & HISS!!! LOL!

walked: 55min/ 3.38 miles/ 188 cal burn
total fitness miles for March = 53.72 miles

we had a heck-of-a-spring snow storm in our state this weekend.
2 ft of snow in the NW part of OOOOklahoma!! Yikes!
We, luckily, only got about an inch or so; lots of much needed rain, that would've been about 9 inches of snow if it had been a bit colder. Dodged a big bullet, I think.

walked today: 66 min/ 4.03 miles/ 224 cal burn
total fitness miles walked in March = 57.75 miles

I've been busy the last several days...but I thought I posted at least a few of the days....

I've been doing my regular workouts other than rest days on the weekend due to weekend guests!

We got snow here over the weekend...more is forecast at some point this week. I'm so ready for spring!

walked today:
60 min/ 3.72 miles/ 206 cal burn
total fitness miles walked in March = 61.47 miles
Not as many March miles as I'd hope for, but I earned
6 little walking dudes!!! LOL!
