| Bring on Spring!!!! I'm sure at some point in June or July we'll be wishing for some *cool* air, but for now, I'm sick of winter!!! happy trails.....

| Yesterday I did weights... Today was cardio...20 minutes each on the cross trainer and the bike. I also got out for my first outdoor bike ride today! I got 11 miles in winds that were up to 32 mph!! Almost got blown off the road a couple of times! But it was a great ride and I was glad to be back out there....hope I can go again soon!

We've also had some unseasonable warm(like 87 degrees!) already; I'm sure we'll *pay* for it before spring is here to stay. exercise day off yesterday. back to it today: walked: 72 min/ 4.42 miles/ 245 cal burn total fitness miles walked for March = 21.99 miles happy trails...

| had to force myself to walk this morning; was having some crummy nausea. aacckk! anyhoo...I only could make it about 58 min due to the 30MPH S winds and fear of my tummy revolting on me. I'm clueless as to what it is or where it came from. I don't think anything is *going around*?? Oh well...my diet today thus far has been diet Sprite and saltines. walked: 58 min/ 3.52 miles/ 195 cal burn total fitness miles for March = 25.51 miles happy trails....

| I took the day off Sat. because I was out of town all day. Sunday was a medium intensity cardio workout. Today was another bike ride (should have skipped it because it was cold and windy!) and weights. I'm really sore tonight but should be ok by tomorrow. I'll take some Aleve before bed! I'm so glad I've been able to get a few rides because I usually don't get any before the end of March. The wind around here has been crazy lately but I know which routes to take to have the least problems with it. The problem today was I had to change my planned route due to the wind and cold. So the last 5 miles were really a challenge. And the first part was really hilly! I do think that all my intense workouts over the winter have really helped my riding!

| Just Started with LC yesterday and thought this thread would be a great way to keep track and get feedback as I plod along... I find that counting calories and such is way too time consuming for me... But I will gladly log my excersize and and carbs (if i can figure them out) . I will be logging miles on my excersize bike, I live in Alabama and it is often raining or 180 degrees outside, so as much as i like to walk, it isn't always practical. However my bike is always there ... starring me down... giving me that "come hither" look . I stayed on plan all day yesterday , even when i got called in to work unexpectedly, YAY ME. !!! So Off I go... |

| WOO HOO I stayed on program yesterday 2 days in a row ... i went 3 miles on my indoor bike.. YAY ME !!! Here's hoping every one has a great Day !!! |
