I did the upper body weights yesterday....took today off...

I asked DH to bring my basement bike up to the guest bedroom temporarily so I can use it till my knee can handle the stairs again. So tomorrow I'll start that again...and I found a 100 pushup challenge online and I'm going to attempt it! Am I nuts or what?! I don't think I can even do one!

Upper body weights today....I'll be getting on the bike later today...have to decide what movie to watch while I pedal....and I need to do the pushup stuff today, too.

Well, yesterday was lower body weights and biking in the spare bedroom. Watching the movie Australia while I pedal...will take me several days to see the whole thing since I'm only watching while I'm on the bike.

Today was upper body weights, still have to do bike and maybe some rebounder.....and the pushup thing I'm doing...not very good at it but someday I hope to do one real pushup!

FWIW, Linda...I HATE push ups!! I do about 10-15 *wall ups* outside as part of my warm up routine before I fitness walk. I just can't get real excited about upper body weights...I should, but both of my elbows are pretty much shot.(part of the lovely package when you belong to the Fabulous overFifty Club!!)

I did lower body weights today....not sure if I'm going to do anything else...been busy getting the kitchen ready for a new stove and fridge!

Shelley, I'm part of that club, too! That's why my knee is shot and I have a few other issues...

I decided to use my kitchen counter for pushups since I tried them on my knees and it hurt! I can do the counter pushups ok so I'll continue doing them. I really enjoy doing weights but we'll see how the pushups go!

Busy few days! Had to prepare for new stove and fridge that were delivered yesterday...I did get my weights workouts and the pushups done...no cardio because my knee has been puffy so I've been resting it. I hope to get back to cardio tomorrow, I miss it!

The new stove and fridge are great!

no walk for me today; stormy weather pattern for us right now. multiple tornado watches and warnings last night with a couple of funnels sighted in western OOOklahoma!. They say we'll have another bumpy night tonight. gak!

Today was lower body weights and indoor biking....had to renew the fitness place membership and had a nice chat with the manager...she told me they are looking into getting some kettlebells to have on hand!

I still can't believe we actually got new appliances! Still waiting for the serviceperson to come and install a water line for the ice/water dispenser....they are scheduled for Friday. I've been cooking on one burner for a few years now....the old stove came with this house and is definitely lower end....I do a lot of cooking (nothing fancy) so it was always taking forever. I finally decided on a new stove and DH said if I am getting that I might as well get a new fridge, too. The one we had is too small for what I need....it was originally in DS's apartment and was supposed to be temporary...so now, 5 years later, I have my new appliances....the smaller fridge is now in the garage....
