| walking was a real challenge today...25-30MPH winds from the south...but I stuck it out. LOL! walked: 66 min/ 4.03 miles/ 223 cal burn total fitness miles for April = 4.03 miles happy trails...

| I haven't had a lot of time to post lately ... BUT ... 've stayed on track with me excercise routine... I'm up to 5 miles a day on my indoor bike ... and weights at least twice per week. Although last nighti cheated and only went 4 miles... it was a long day ... and we had crab legs for dinner so naturally I ate too much . But hey ... at least I overindulged on crab, butter and asparagus !!! HAPPY TRAILS TO EVERYONE |

| Well, I didn't get anything more done yesterday and today is an unplanned day off...I've got a cold or something with a wonky head and cough so I'm spending the day in the recliner....not happy about it but I need to get better because I'm supposed to go away with DH next week....

| Linda, Sorry you are under the weather. Take care of yourself...even if it means skipping several days of exercise. Relapses are the pits!(trust me...I know of which I speak! LOL!) Sending get-betters atcha!! No walk for me today; winds(25-35MPH) from the North...temps in the 40s; we've had some 60MPH gusts!!! Hoping tomorrow will be a nicer day.... happy trails......

| Thanks, Shelley! I will definitely take it easy because I'm supposed to go out of town with DH on Monday for the week! Don't want to be sick for that! What's with the crazy wind everywhere? We've had it, too, although I don't think it was up to 60 mph...last I checked it was close to 40 mph...that's too much for me!

| I too would really like to get outside and walk ... BUT... it has rained so much here lately that i fear our house is just gonna slide right down the hill ...i don't think that there is a dry patch in the entire southeast. Oh well I have my indoor bike, I took it nowhere for another 5 miles yesterday. |

| Finally!!!...the winds died down a bit this morning, so I made a *run for it* before another front blows in this afternoon. Sooooo.... walked: 70 min/ 4.31 miles/ 239 cal burn total fitness miles walked for April = 8.34 miles happy trails....

| the winds are back...aacckk!!! They were out of the south this morning, but are supposed to shift and become out of the North tonight, and bring us a COLD front with temps diving into the 30s!!! AARRGGHH!!!! Our purple martins and the other birds are going to be so confused, they may never nest!!! LOL! I digress... I walked this morning..... 73 min/ 4.51 miles/ 250 cal burn total fitness miles for April = 12.85 miles ![]() happy trails.....

my Hubby wen tout this morning and found a Total Gym thingy at our favorite thrift store.. I've been lookng for one at a decent price for over a year, the model he found costs $1300 new ... he got it for $45 ... And I must say ... It kicks Butt ... AWSOME !!!!! I highly recomend it if you can find a good used one... no impact on the knees oe feet. I skipped the bike today and spent darn near an hour on the Total Gym. |

| Congrats on the Total Gym, momus! I am still sick so no workouts for a few more days, I'm thinking. Better today but nowhere near ready for any kind of exercise...it will be mid week at least before I can do anything.

| well, dang, Linda. Sorry to hear you are still sick. Are you going to get to go with your hubby on his trip? Hope you feel mucho improved pronto!! and...Melissa...yay for your total gym!!! WTG!!! well...same song, 2nd verse...MORE cold and MORE wind...aacckk!!! So...no walk for me today. We are supposed to have *hard freezes* tonight and tomorrow night. Then, maybe we'll get back to some REAL spring weather. I'll probably do some upper body weights later and may dig out a WATP video. Or not. Ironing and another load of laundry loom on the horizon. gak!! happy trails...

| Holy cow... it is 29 degrees with snow flurries today ... I live in ALABAMA for crying out loud... last week it was in the mid 70's (and raining) ... I'm still loving the Total Gym ... I go for about 20 min . in the morning and evening... it is a really good workout in a short period of time... and it is kinda fun too. |

| I'm at the hotel...DH is off for meetings all day. I went down to the pool and did a bit of water walking...didn't think I should try the fitness room quite yet. Feeling much better but tired still. We are planning on going to a local fitness center tomorrow when he gets done with his meetings. It's a branch of the one we belong to at home....the membership allows use of any of their facilities. I'll stick with a lighter workout than I usually do but I'm ready for some exericse! It's nice to be able to just relax here without feeling like I should be doing a chore or something!
