| We went to a picnic on Sat. for my Aunt & Uncle's 50th Anniversary...had a great time but a lot of sitting. Sunday was working on the new deck (actually I just made food for the one working!) but then I had to go to the airport to pick up DH so the rest of the day was shot for me. Once we have the big picnic on the 4th of July things should settle down around here, I hope!

| Went yesterday for lower body weights and some time on the upright bike...and a few minutes on the cross trainer. Today will be upper body weights and some time on one of the bikes...

Upright bike and lower body weights today! I think I've figured out the cause of the inflammation in my knees (which has been a problem for about 6 weeks now) and I'm working on eliminating it....if I'm wrong, I've got a dr. appt. next week for a follow up for the injections and will discuss it then....

| Didn't get a workout yesterday....stormed all day and I didn't want to go out in it....and I didn't feel like doing a workout at home... Will take another day off today....going out of town for niece's graduation party....hopefully I'll get back to a good workout tomorrow! Knees are better but still sore....

| I ended up taking yesterday off, too, but went today for some indoor biking and upper body weights. Tomorrow starts the Biggest Loser challenge at the gym. I'm looking forward to the session with the trainer although I wouldn't mind skipping the rest! I do need it for accountability and maybe I'll even start losing again... I discussed my problems losing with the gyno last month and she said I will probably always have trouble now that I'm heading into menopause! And she suggested discussing the possibility of diet pills with my regular doctor! No way! I've been working hard on being healthy so I have no intention of taking pills to lose. I don't mind taking pills when necessary but not for weight loss....I'm going to do this on my own!

| Your miles are really adding up, Shelley! My workout today was my poor imitation of the breast stroke in our pool! Finally warm enough to get in! I am officially in the Biggest Loser challenge at the gym! So I've got 8 weeks to be accountable right here in real life!

| I had 6 of my nieces/nephews overnight and then all day yesterday....and most of them came back with my SIL again today for some pool time....which of course meant not much workout time and not much computer time. One more week till the big picnic and lots to still get done...weeding, plant dividing/moving, mulching and so on...house to clean and food to make....I'm going to be so ready to collapse on the Monday after the 4th!

| Hi Darlene, Welcome to the exercise accountability thread. We start a new one each month, so just jump in and report in on your exercise. I'm a walker, and my pedometer gives me my miles and calorie burn, but you can also use a diet tracker like fitday that lets you enter your activity and it will give you your calorie burn. I have the pc version of fitday, but there is also a free version at: fitday.com hth happy trails....
