Went for upper body weights and some recumbent bike time. Once the weekend is past, I hope to get back to more variety in my workouts as well as more workouts! I need to stop coasting along and make some progress....but right now my brain is focused on the picnic Saturday! Things will start to get back to normal on Monday and then I can make a new workout plan and also make an appt. for a training session with the trainer guy at the gym!

July 1... I did 20 minutes on the stair climber, 30 minutes on the elliptical and lifted weights for my arms.
I sweated like a pig.... I used to do the elliptical only, I just started using the stair climber....its killer!
My goal is to use a variety of equipment at the gym... I hear that is the best way to condition all over and to keep from getting bored. I go at 6:30 am while my kids are asleep. Its so hard!!! I hate getting up early but I know going early is the only way I'm positive I will get there... so many other things crop up in the day. Well.... time to go to the gym! Love/Hate kind of thing!

Sherry...good for you on going to the gym early!!! Not only are you hitting your goal for the day, but you are revving up your metabolism for the day as well! wOOt!!!

Linda...I have no doubt you'll be rockin' a new exercise plan soon and getting great results as well!!! here's a wOOt for you to!

Hi! I went for a short workout this morning...recumbent bike and lower body weights....so much to do today...probably won't get to bed till after midnight at this rate! And more to do tomorrow!

I will be working out tomorrow but taking Sat. and Sunday off while DS/DIL are here. I doubt if I'll be on the computer much so I'll just say Happy 4th of July and have a great weekend now and see you all on Monday!

walked this morning...bright and early at 0600 and it was still HOT!!!...78 degrees!! ugh!
walked: 75 min/ 4.63 miles/ 257 cal burn

The weekend was a huge success! Great picnic, good food, family fun! I'm worn out!

Yesterday I went to the gym and did weights and some bike time.....today I'm doing a yoga dvd since I have stuff loaded in the back of the truck and don't want to park anywhere with it out in the open.

Weights today....I'm going to have DH bring my basement bike and the little camping TV and dvd player up to the garage so I can do some home workouts there....almost like being outside! I'll use the TV and dvd player to do the kettlebell workouts!

76 degrees with exactly 76% humidity this morning when I did walk & runs....aacckk!

Today was a half hour on the cross trainer....first time I could do that long since the shots in the knee...

yay, Linda!!! Sounds like things are getting better, yes?

79 degrees/ 65% humidity...at 0600 when I left to go walk!!! That's ridiculous!!!
We had temps reported of 115 in far NW OK yesterday! That's REALLY ridiculous!!! ugh!

walked/jogging sprints:66min/ 4.31 miles/ 239 cal burn
total fitness miles for July = 34.31 miles

Shelley, most of the time the knee is feeling better. I accidently discovered that one thing that causes a lot of knee/joint pain for me is soda....so I had to give it up. I'm not sure what in the soda is causing it...at first I thought it was the aspartame but it continued with the splenda sweetened soda. So now it's just water for me....

I did 20 minutes on the cross trainer today....I'm still several levels down from what I was doing last winter but I'm going to build it back up! I also did weights today....not splitting days into upper and lower anymore because for now there are only 2 lower body machines I can do...easy enough to do all the weights in one day.
