What are some really good tapes with really good music? I HATE tapes that have crappy music! I want to buy some good ones to get me good and started. I don't think I'll get bored with walking but I do need some variety. I bought yoga cards a few months ago and have made a custom Cd that I LOVE I can't wait to try it!

I think they're all pretty crappy music- wise. What I do is, after I have done the tape a couple of times so I'm familiar witht he moves, turn down the TV volume and turn up my OWN music (I try to find stuff with a rhythm similar to the moves). Helps a ton. Funny, but I never listen to music when I walk or run outside. I started not using a walkman when outdoors because I'm out at the crack of dawn, on a country road, and I'm afraid I'll get squashed by I car I can't hear comin. Now, I'm used to it and I never get bored outside. The treadmill is a whole 'nother ballgame. Boring, boring, boring. So, my favorite tunes for the treadmill are anything by the Pixies and ska or reggae - great beat and it's a blast to listen to.

Music is a really personal issue. In general, though, Christi Taylor workouts use pretty good pop tunes.

I like doing "freestyle" workouts on my rebounder, using any music I like. I'm even willing admit that Motown and Disco keep this old gal movin' and groovin' on that rebounder. But now that you mention reggae....!

I listen to EVERYTHING. They usually just have that generic music on the tapes that I have seen. Give me something I've heard before at LEAST! I don't listen to music while I'm walking either. Don't have a walkman and it's interesting to look at all the stuff that's going on around you outside. The houses, the trees, the dogs, the cars. Like riding a bike. I LOVE the wind from riding a bike outside.

I personally like tae bo because I get to pretend to hit things. Major stress reliever for me. The music like all the rest is not the greatest, but because it's fast paced once you get the general moves down you can put in your own and crank it up. Loud enough to annoy your neighbor (oh wait....that's just me!)

I am so uncoordinated that I can never get the moves down to Tae Bo. I have all the tapes but just stand there staring at the screen after awhile. I look like a fool but the worst part, is that I don't get any better at it!
