... is enough? My husband and I are trying to make sure we get enough exercise (both for general health and to lose weight). But we want to have a social life, too (and we both work).

Right now, we hit the gym 3-5 days a week, lifting weights for 30-45 minutes (we just switched to a 2-day split) and doing cardio for 35-45 minutes. We also walk to the train and home again everyday, for a total of about 20-25 minutes of brisk walking. Our jobs are pretty sedentary most days.

Does that sound like enough? Suggestions for changes/improvements?

Thanks!

Sounds like plenty to me! Just be sure to change your routine every few weeks. Do different kinds of weighted exercises, or vary the order of the sets. Variety keeps your body guessing--and working.

Of course, the only information that really counts is--are you seeing and feeling the results you want? If not, try something else!
