*phew* I was wondering who you needed to shoot! Just my $0.02 - I understand why the built-in rowing would be nice, but I think a bench, a bunch of dumbbells, and a good weight-training book with pictures would be cheaper, more versatile, and more effective. But then I just plain hate machines. http://laurelyn.home.comcast.net/lowcarb/

In the "home gum weight set" thread there is a poster who has a Crossbow and says he likes it http://lowcarbeating.infopop.cc/6/ub...4&m=2826014344 (I'm hoping that will drop the link in for the thread, but if not, just scroll down a few entries in this forum.) Aderyn

Durability seems fine so far. Plenty enough of a challange. I don't use the rowing feature because my legs are big enough already. LOL I use an eliptical trainer or my bike on a stand for my cardio now. HANG IN THERE!!! Don http://home.insightbb.com/~athuddriver/index.html http://home.insightbb.com/~athuddriv...nks/links.html

Sorry I didn't see this one earlier or I'd have responded sooner! DH and I bought a CrossBow a couple months ago. We love it! We owned a BowFlex a couple years back and IMHO, the CrossBow is superior in materials and sturdiness. It's also easier to reach the handles from a reclining position which is the main reason we sold the BowFlex - neither DH nor I could use it alone because the handles were not well-located for the reclining exercises. So, if you're still considering it, go for it! I do use the rowing feature and I really like it. Char Don't squat with yer spurs on!
