I was thinking about dusting off my oxycise tapes I bought a few years ago and I curious if anyone does this? I did it for a short time and I couldn't believe from breathing that my ab's were kinda sore the next day as if I had just completed a 100 crunches.

Let me know if you had success. I'm going to give it a whirl again!

I too have the oxycise tapes, but wasn't sure if they actually worked. I had never gotten past how they seemed to be too strange to work. So I went ahead and bought the Body Flex. It's a different type of breathing, but it's the same general concept. I have only done both one time through, but I seemed to like Body Flex better. When I tried Oxycise I wasn't determined to loose weight, but now I am so that could be the difference. Good Luck in whatever you choose!

Thanks for bringing this up. I have the tapes and did it every day for a while when I first bought them. I did like the effect of doing the oxycise so I'm going to dust them off and try it again. I've been low carb for a year and a half so the effects may be even better.

Good Luck! Keep me posted...Maybe I'll have to do both Body Flex and Oxycise! We'll see how Body Flex goes first

It's alot like Body Flex. Taking oxygen into the system while in funny positions to help benefit the muscles the best way possible. It's strange to watch and do. So I only ever do either of them when I'm home alone!

That sounds exactly like Yoga.

It's not like yoga...it's "unique" breathing. I don't have any idea how to explain it...yoga is more deep calm breathing...this is a sudden harsh breath....really strange! With all of hte words in the english language I have no idea how to explain the sillyness of Oxycise and Body Flex, but if they work...I guess they work!
