Jen, I feel you on that one. I did the same thing as you and opted for the older version on ebay at$9.00. I'm not sure if I will like it,so I felt this was the smart thing to do. Mine should be arriving soon, can't wait.

Jen, my daughter was standing here when I read your response. She sure got a chuckle out of it! I WISH I didn't gain when I was sick or injured. Unfortunately, that is my prime time!!!

I'm trying to be very careful, though. I did indulge a bit yesterday at a Chinese place -- didn't over eat, but did knock myself out of ketosis. Paid for it with greatly increased pain level. Was it worth it? No, it was NOT!

Today, however, I've done very well and I'm looking forward to being able to do something besides sit here with my foot in the air!!!

Angel, I think we were posting at the same time!

Yes, I'm sure the old ones will be fine. I'm doing what I REMEMBER from reading the book a few years ago. I also spent a couple of weeks on the body flex support board to help me remember/get tips, then I went on my own. I'm still only doing the breathing part with occassionally adding an arms exercise I remember.

Here's how cheap I am: I'm waiting in line for the book from the library! I've already been waiting for over a month

I got my tapes today. When I put the instructional video in and saw Greer breathe, I doubled over with laughter! Then she did the face toning part with the breathing and I thought I would die from the laughter!
I hope I can do it without laughing. My mom is gonna do it with me and she said she would be sure not to look at me while doing it. She would bust out laughing as well.

All I know is if she got to look like that just from Body Flexing, then funny faces and weird sounding breathing is fine with me!! I can't wait to start it tomorrow. I am going to be sure to measure to track my progress.

I posted this in the exercise challenge thread, but just for those who don't read that one:

Ok I just have to say I am now a firm believer in Body Flex!! I woke up sore all over! I used muscles yesterday that I haven't used in years if ever. I stood on the scale and the 2 pounds are gone!! I did it again this morning and it really helped loosen me up. I know for a fact that I look rediculous doing this but you know what...Who cares! It works!! It only takes 20 minutes and I have energy to burn all day afterward.

Ok, I'm done selling this now.

I know what you mean about waking up the house. Yesterday I did it in my bedroom and my Son was just across the hall. He was awake already but even though his door was closed and so was mine, when I opened my door he came out and said to me (he's 4) "Mom, would you stop already with the Haaaaaaaah!" LOL

Can't wait to join in with you all. I know I've been dragging my feet, making plans, making excuses... for months now. Ugh. Not going to hate myself for it. I'm just going move forward. A step in the right direction every day has to eventually HELP!
