I would like to hear from some of our Curves Bunch on this one.

Is your actual workout 30 minutes and then additional minutes for stretching?

OR, does your 30 minutes include stretching?

Swift replies appreciated!

Take care~

Mine's usually 30 mins plus time to strecth. But I also just started, so it'll probably end up being right around 30 minutes total once I actually know what I'm doing.

I do almost exactly 30 mins on the machines and about 10 mins of stretching, so 40 mins. total. I go around 3 times and end when I get to my starting machine.

But then there's also the extra 10-15 mins. additional afterward of standing around and talking to the girls behind the counter or a Curves patron. I never get out of there very fast.

I haven't been to Curves in awhile, but I would do a full thirty minutes in the machines, then do some crunches (the machine just didn't help me with abs - I think I was doing it wrong, LOL) then some deep stretching. All told, my workouts were about 45 to 50 minutes. I would skip the abs if I was pressed for time, but always stretched. It's just about the best thing you can do to alleviate soreness and avoid injury.

My workouts are 30 min then 8-10 for stretching. The way my Curves trained me and other members were:

You go 2 X's around only 3 X's a week and thats it.

At first I didnt think that was enough but now I do. I get my heart rate up on the second machine and I keep it up the rest of the workout. I usually always break a glisten, (sweat) 3/4 of the way through.

I have asked other members who have been going to Curves for a couple years and they usually go 3 X's around. I am physically not to that point yet. Sometimes I will go over to the machine that works my middle section to do an extra one on that to help the Philsbury Dough Boy that I have.

Okay I have shared enough...
