Hi all,

Well to begin I'm really feeling sorry for myself right now....I've lost 57 lbs so far with no exercise but of course have hit a plateau and was looking forward to being able to start exercising and seeing the scales begin to move again.

See the problem is a bum knee. I couldn't even walk for much distance without having effects. I had surgery last Monday which was supposed to fix things but when doc got in there he found out the knee was a lot worse than expected so he just cleaned up the debris and now I'm looking a total replacement....There goes my rollerblading and hopes of joining curves....sigh....

Anyway my question is...do you all think the body flex program is a viable option for me? And does it really really work with no other types of exercise? Mabe I'll be allowed to walk but thats about it (feeling self pity again.....gotta stop doing that...)

First things first...

Next,

Yes, absolutely! That was how I started BF in the first place. I had a very seriously injured foot.

I'm sorry your knee is so bad

Blessings!

Hi Becki from a fellow Ohioian!
I'm so sorry to hear about your knee. But boy oh boy a 57 pound loss is fabulous!!

Yes! You can do the Body Flex without any impact on your knees. You could even do it laying down to some extent. It burns the calories using aerobics. I know, you're now saying, but I can't do aerobics. Yes you can! Aerobics just means using breathing to take in oxygen. We do a very specific type of breathing that is the equivelent of running 5 miles. I have never found anything that works so good and is so easy to do.
Come on over to our Body Flex 2 thread. Lots of us are doing it with wonderful results!

Becki, I hope you know that you have done so much and come so far! please don't be discouraged! You WILL succeed!!

Hi Becki!

I'm so proud of you! Great weight loss! And I certainly understand your feelings of discouragement, but you will find Body Flex to be a GREAT way to get some exercise without ever having to worry about your knee.

Bless your heart! I do hope you'll join in the Body Flex 2 thread. We have fun (and you don't have to BF nekkid either). Take care,

Bon (AKA Hopeful in Hollywood)
