| Wow, you're so lucky! I wish we had something free like that. (OK we live on a lake, but there's no way I'm swimming in anything where I can't see the bottom. Besides it's frozen over about half the year.) I don't know about exercise with the machines, hopefully someone else can help with that, but swimming is about the best exercise you can do. Especially if you vary your strokes, you're working just about every muscle group and getting an impact-free cardio workout at the same time. If you use hand and feet fins to exercise it's just like weight resistance. LCE member since March 2002 |

| curves is like a dozen machines that target different areas. You stay on one machine for 30 seconds, then move to a pad for walking/jogging/whatever in place between the machines. but if you have the machines already available, you can probably simulate the process.
