Hi Steve & Judy

Hope your both doing well!!!

We are going up to my 85-year-old uncle on our days off this week. I already know were going to Mexican for dinner and he wants to go to Denny's for breakfast. I offered to bring the grill and we could BBQ for him.. But he loves to go out to eat. And looks forward to our taking him.. Well I won’t have any trouble at Denny’s.. But I hardly ever do well with Mexican.. I do the food OK. Its just when they ask if I want a Margarita I fail!! :-(

If I can get 4 - 100% days in before we get there, I might have a chance.. But I’ve been eating right 5 days a week & then blowing it on the weekends since Xmas.. And the best I’m doing is staying the same!! (Well it could be worse.. I could gain!!)

Febe, Glad to see you started us over again. Now the question becomes --- Do we start over for September??? I kept up my tracking while the board was down. Most of the days are pretty consistent with what I had been doing so I'm going to skip writing them all in for the time being and just put today's up later this evening. The thing that I'm most excited about though is seeing 145.5 this morning. I lost lots of records when the old board went down, so I'm not sure, but I think I lost about 3 pounds this month. Going back to work (school) has been the best diet aid that I have had. Have a good weekend --- you can handle the Mexican food!

Being at home is bad.... I cooked like crazy this afternoon. Pie, potatoes, and rolls only for DH, creamed spinach and meatloaf to round it out for both of us. I ate too much -- again. The fats are too high -- again. But, I guess that's why I track, isn't it?

Calories: 1707
Fat:142--72
Carbs:64-15f=49 11%
Protein:77-- 17%

Febe, did you survive the Mexican food?

Febe,
Looks like it's just you and me........I hope Steve finds us soon and that we can round up a few more to join us. Let's let August end and I'll start a Sept. tracker for us. See you on the new topic.
