    Good morning!

It is foggy and overcast here! How was everyone's weekend??

I hope everyone has a great start to their week!
I get the privelege of waiting in the DMV line today. I know how you all must envy me.

    A wonderful day to all!

I've had a 3 pound gain due to pms! Yuck!
Believe it or not they remodled our DMV and it is really fast and efficient@! I was stunned!

Well, the PVC light stands work great!!!! I've got a couple of other things to make or find--a "lampshade" diffuser, and the right color background paper, and then DH can practice taking pictures of my jewelry. Actually, his test shots were good, even without all the trimmings. This will be the cheapest close up photography set-up in history (excluding camera, unfortunately).

Today I've got to get on the road and take care of some of DF's business before the sleet sets in, so I'm off for now!

    Be careful out there!

Michelle..I wish my DMW was remodeled and efficent. It is "snowbird" season here so the lines are horrendous and attitudes a bit..shall we say.."needing adjustment".

    Brenda...be careful girl..it sounds treacherous!

    That sounds very cool, Bren!

I'm sorry y'all are still socked in... We had a brief break in the rains yesterday and actually saw some blue for a little bit in the afternoon. They've hit hard and heavy again this morning with WIND!

I've dropped the bloat I acquired from my escapade into LC junkfood last week, and I'm ready to start losing again!! I did my exercises and am working on my first quart of water...

    Blessings!

Sharron, glad the bloat is gone! You are way ahead of me on the water! How is the "dairy
fast" going? ( it was dairy wasn't it?)

Yes, Deb, I'm off dairy now. It is making a big difference for me! I blew it last week several days in a row with LC junkfood so I lost my energy and got bloated. That is gone and I'm feeling perky again.

    Watch out world

    Hi,

I hope everyone is having a good day. Not much really to report. I went to 7 stores yesterday trying to find all my lc foods for the week. Seems everyone is sold out of the LC tortillas. Finally found them! And my old place to find the LC black soybeans doesn't carry them anymore. Finally found them too. Got my workout in this AM.

DF(riend) was (thoughtful) enough to by me a box (4 little cups) of Atkins Indulge icecream to have during the superbowl. I hadn't planned on eating this stuff till I was closer to goal. But I wolfed 'em down anyway. Today I'm feeling like I slipped. And gained 2 pounds too. *sigh*

Made a big batch of chili yesterday YUM!! Tonight it's tacos.

I hope y'all are surviving the last part of winter ok! It won't be long now.

The weather cleared up nicely and the DMV wasn't bad at all! I couldnt get my ticket cleared up ( don't ask) while I was out because the officer hadn't yet filed the ticket.( ok suffice it to say it wasnt a moving violation).
Eating is fair..I waited too long to eat lunch so I was ravenous, ate 1/2 oz of pretzels along with my meat and cheese...then 5 s/f chocolate pieces. I'' try to remember to keep a protein snack in my purse for long lines. I don't usually need it.
Dinner is already partially assembled. Steak and salad, and breakfast was good!
How is everyone else doing so far?

    Hello All,

I started back eating induction level today. I have just been really slipping on taking bites of HC foods and it has gotten out of hand. I am going to do the whole 2 weeks of induction to clean the cravings out of my system. I can stay on track fine when I am at work, but being home presents problems.

Michelle, I am glad we had school today. In fact, the temp got up to 38. Sharron, we do have your rain. It is coming down pretty steady. As long as it does not turn to freezing, we will be OK. It is melting off all of the snow . Hopefully school will be a go for tomorrow. I do not want anymore snow days. We already have to go on President's day as a makeup.

Oh, good Susan, I hope it stays warm!

And I'm glad your line wasn't too long Deb.

Gregg, I think we had the same day

    It was just horrible

I had planned a "treat" for the kids: Take them to Subway. Got them their "happy meal" and me try the wrap.

    Bad, very bad.

The happy meal, on the surface, appeared sugar free! Not low carb, but no sugar. Well, the fruit snacks had sugar in them. Why would they put sugar in a fruit snack???

Anyway, they all reacted with headaches

The wrap was not satisfying at all. I need to find out from the Subway site if she even did it right!!! I mean, it barely had anything in it but lettuce That meant I left lunch hungry and bought "snacks" at every store I went to. Didn't eat most of them and didn't buy anything with dairy, or du-uh at least I thought!

What I ended up eating was a few of those low carb chips from TJs, some nuts and 2 pieces of TJs jerkey. The chips were "nacho" but didn't look like they hardly had any seasonings on them. Apparently, looks can be deceiving! I am headachy, muscle achy and bloated...

    *sigh*

Back to square one again tomorrow.

    Blessings!

    Sharon,
I had a Subway wrap over the weekend. They treated it just like any other Subway sandwich --- asked which vegetables I wanted (which was everything except the jalepenos). Mine was loaded and filling. I'll eat it again.

Hope the weather improves for all you cold country people. Six more weeks of winter means six more weeks of cloudy, overcast, generally rainy, "cold" for us weather.

My academic team got their ranking for the state contest. We are #12 of 25 teams. Not a bad position to be in. It's the same place we were last year, and we finished in the top ten. I think these kids can do it, too.

    Judy,

I think it is a problem at this store. I just wrote an email to Subway corp. to see what they say...

I drank a 1/2 gallon of water after I wrote the above post and doubled my ACV. I'm feeling much better now!

    Best wishes on your competition!

    Blessings!
