I have been using Sam's Club Dietary Fiber Supplement for years (1 rounded tbsp every morning). First ingredient listed is 'sucrose'. Label states that 1 rounded tbsp contains 11 g of carbs (3 g of dietary fiber, 2 g of soluble fiber and 8 g of sugars). Is the net carb 8 g?
Can you recommend a lower sugar Dietary Fiber Supplement?
    Thank you.

Cheridamour, go to your local health food store and buy Psyllium Husk Powder (plain). It's effective and cheap. 8gr carb, and 6.7 gr fiber--a real bargain.

You can also try Maggie's Cereal in the mornings, which does the job for a lot of people and tastes pretty darn good, too.

Metamucil makes a sugar free version, as well as capsules. I take the Metamucil in the mornings. However, I'm a big believer in fiber and eat some sort of flax cereal in addition on most days. I'm lazy so I buy one ready to eat, but Maggie's cereal is supposed to be great.

I buy walmart sugar free brand. 5 carbs. Doesn't taste too terrible!

I have Konsyl without added sugar. I add it to my protein shakes.
