| Good Morning! Last night, Barb Keith held a LC meeting in the area. We didn't get as many people as she hoped (we really missed you, Brenda!), but, i addition to Barb and her DH, Alice was there (Paleofornow), 3 ladies from Barb's Curves, and I was there. A bit later, a couple that recently opened a LC store in Geneva or St Charles on Randall Road, near Fabyan Pkwy (by the Home Depot) came by. Their store "Good Carbs" has been open two weeks and they are eagerly looking for products to stock their shelves with. We started with the ladies from Curves listening to each of our stories (Barb-Atkins, Alice-Paleo, me-CALP) and going from "I'm not sure I can ever do this" to "maybe I can and I can't wait to start". So, we'll see how it goes. The next meeting is supposed to be at the LC store on March 9. My WW WI was at 219.4. Down 2.6 for the week, down 85.2 total since WW. And, I reached my 3rd 10% goal. My next 10% will put me under 200. And, best of all, I am down over 160 from my highest. Of course my WI at home are less as they are on an empty stomach, no clothes on, after going potty. | WOW everyone is doing great. Keep up the good work! Today will be good. I am going totally sugar free and no s/f candy! I think it will help me a lot. I will meet with a lady trainer on Friday. I had been following a upper/lower body w/o that a man assigned us. Mine was the same as dh's which always bothered me. Men and women's bodies are so different. The lady met me yesterday and go me all excited. I told her, I don't want to bulk up, I want to trim down. She said, she knows exactly what I need! I am excited about meeting with her on Friday. Men need more muscle bulking (because their muscle holds fat) and woman need more cardio with muscle training b/c their fat is held b/t their muscle and skin. I had no idea! LEarn something everyday! ![]() Monica 206/168/155 |

| Good Morning, Everyone! First, to catch up on yesterday: Deb, you look mah-vel-ous! Love that picture with DGS! Judy! It's so very nice so see you!! Can't wait to see a "full" length version. Connie, sounds as if family is doing great. Nice to hear about your active daughters, and that DD2 is doing so very well with her weight now. Hey, how about a picture of you, too?? AJ, welcome back. I do remember you. It sounds like you are really on track and I'm glad to see you in the recommitment thread. Gregg, congrats on another victory over Mr. Scale. You are doing mighty fine! Ilse, good work! Congrats on the accomplishments. Losing 160 pounds, and still having your great attitude is positively amazing. Glad you enjoyed the meeting, too. Mon, good to see you excited about your workout. Susan, how are you feeling? I wasn't on line much yesterday--decided I really needed to accomplish a few things BC 172/108/108--5'2" Zone since 4/98 [This message was edited by BC on 02-25-04 at 09:05 AM.] |

| It's over and out for me until Monday at the earliest. (Anyone want to volunteer to take nine high school seniors out of town for four days..... Yeah, I'm nuts.) I hope to have good contest results to report when I get back.
