Good morning everyone!

How is everyone starting the weekend? I hope yours will be well. I'm not sure what we will be doing. Most likely, going out to some stores.

Yesterday, I stopped at a bunch of places after my workshop, including a new store that carries only low-carb items. I was tempted by a couple of flavors of DaVinci syrups, but am not in the market for them at this moment. The rest of it is not for me, as I am not looking for food substitutes.

Ilse, how much longer till that much-awaited vacation?

Deb, I've heard the Passion is amazing...

Today is our Pinewood Derby day! It is a "sectional" thing with many churches bringing their boys to this Royal Rangers event. The boys (including dh ) have been working on their cars for weeks. Even my girls got together and did a car. They have a "non-classed" event (open) for girls, dads, moms, etc. I wanted to do one this year, but there were not enough cars. Our Sr. Commander didn't even get to do one because the demand was much higher than he had expected. He just didn't order enough cars!

I'm taking a separate vehicle than they guys. My eldest is at a sleepover with her Missionettes class and my little one and I will have to escape at some point to get groceries. We've got a dear friend at church, an older gentleman, who will be celebrating his 14th birthday tomorrow! He was born on a leap year so we are having a pot luck in his honor! I need the food to cook for it!

I had dairy yesterday. A bad thing. I'm bloated and hurting. I think this is the key I've looked for...

Have a great day everyone

Blessings!

Hello!

Glad to know everyone is well--except Deb with her sinus infection!! But I can tell nothing stops her !!

Ilse-I wish you continued success with your current program...amazing how far you've come and I'm sure you are feeling positively 'high' from all this weightloss...can you share some insight to how you are feeling and mentally dealing with temptation, etc??

Deb-hope you 'clear out' soon and feel better...did you prescribe an antibiotic or is there a newer cure for sinus infections, ie. natural medicine??

Monica-please share about your session with the trainer. Did she have any secrets I need to know??

Sharon-interesting how the dairy is affecting you...even just a tad of it. I wonder if you can be cleared of it somehow...

My DD's saw the Passion last night. DD2 said it was intense. I haven't talked to DD1 about it yet. We had a big family discussion about it earlier. I'm not planning on seeing it-not right away anyway. I'll let you know their comments as I hear them...

We are remodeling as we speak...we are down to one bathroom and the girls are sharing a room-this will get them ready for college roommates LOL DH is the general contractor...today will be more demo and we will finish figuring the floorplan...wish me luck!
Eating will be balanced for me...I've been needing to cut back alittle on the sweet treats; but the scale says everything is okay-I do know that if I eat too much sugar my tummy hurts-I've given up the s/f treats except for Diet soda-and just an occaisional splenda....this seems to be working for me!

Have a lovely weekend-and oh, Monica...today is sunny-think of me on the beach today, LOL!!

Take care

Connie

Greetings from Denver! Wouldn't you know it, it's cloudy and cold today after two absolutely gorgeous days of sunny weather. So much for my plans to get out in the yard and start grooming my roses for spring. I noticed the other day that my grape hyacinths are poking through. Nothing much going on this weekend other than working here at the office for a few hours then running errands.

Sharron, I hope that you are feeling better soon! What sort of dairy did you eat?

Afternoon all!
Cool and sunny over here!

Abt the antibiotics, yep.I try not to use them much but if this doesnt break with the stuff I am using..I wont hesitate to
take them.
My daughter saw "The Passion" and was really impacted. She is bringing several friends to see it again tonight. I tried to get tickets yesterday for this weekend and everything was sold out until Sunday evening. Goodness!

Hope your day is going well!

Hi all!

Saturday is almost over, so I wanted to just check in and let you know that I'm doing well.

I lost almost two pounds yesterday! I'm so glad that I have recommited to this WOL. I'm feeling better, though tired today. This is not good going into tomorrow which will be really busy. Though I have the afternoon free, and I am hoping that I have enough energy to shop! There is a big mall close to the church and I need something to tide me over until I can get some Spring things. Even though it is 60 today, it is the end of Feb., and we WILL get more snow. I am SOOOOO tired of my winter clothes!

Peace, Peg

Hi everyone. Good to see you all here on a Saturday.

Peg, sounds like you are on a roll now Two pounds, WOW!

Connie, remodeling! I commend you. The thought of it gives me the chills!!

Deb, I hope the antibiotics kick in so that you can have a really good time tonight.

Esther, I need to do some yardwork, too. I have a bank of various things that should have been cut down in fall...I always say I will, but I always wait until Spring! But like Peg, I know we'll have more snow, so I'm spending the nice days just enjoying the nice days. Of course you have many more sunny days there than we do here...

Mon, doin' good!

I don't know that I'll be able to see The Passion. Any sort of violence in movies or TV really affects me the last few years, to the point that I can get too upset. My imagination is quite enough, thank you

I'm doing well so far today, too, but running out of energy fast. Hope everyone has nice evening.

Connie, I was surprised by it too...

It doesn't "test" as an allergy for me though. It is really weird. I feel much better without it is all I know!

We had our derby. None of my family won any trophies but two of our boys in our group won 1st and 2nd for their age level. Very cool!

I dropped my keys at the store, so now I have to go back and get them... Fortunately, it wasn't my car keys!

Have a great evening!

Blessings!
