Good Morning Vets,

A warm, but cloudy day here, waiting for cooler weather to flow in later, since Spring is still battling for its place. But I saw robins fussing for worms and squirrels digging up their last batches of wintered acorns in the back yard.

Yesterday turned out to be a project day, with DH and I pulling wires most of the day. DH, of course, forgets to eat when he's busy. Not I! LOL!!

This afternoon, I've got errands to run, but I hope we can get the house put back together. Even the most modest of "projects" seems to produce quite a degree of chaos and vacuumables.

Deb, is all forgiven over the candy??

Hi everyone,
I've been busy and low on posting time for the last few days. Spring does seem to bring out the need for projects. Today I desperately need to dust and vacuum the pollen that has been covering everything. Spring brings almost as much "fallout" here as does autumn. We need a really good rain to knock the rest of the tree pollen down so that we can move past this stage. Just so you can get an idea of how beautiful our spring time is, below is a picure that my son took at the Dallas Arboretum yesterday.

Oh Judy! How beautiful!! I am jealous! Today is cloudy and cool. We're probably in the 40's somewhere.

My tulips are about an inch out of the ground. I think that the squirrels left me with ONE hyacinth! It is struggling to come up, but some rodent keeps nibbling on the top. There are buds beginning to show on the lilacs, but not much else. My neighbor cleaned out her beds yesterday, but I was told "never before Mother's day," so it gives me a good excuse not to get out in my garden yet!

Today has been okay so far. Confirmation coming to an end in a month, though April is pretty easy with only two meetings. Confirmation Sunday is May 2nd. Then I can have my Sunday afternoon and evenings back. Though it is kind of nice to be at the church on Sunday afternoon. Gives me a headstart on the coming week.

We worshiped Bach this morning, along with our Choir Director orchestra and choir. Sigh.

Right now my CE Director (also a talented pianist/accompanist/director) is practicing a Broadway show in the sanctuary with actors from a local cabaret show! We're an eclectic bunch!

I'm feeling a little sleepy in my warm office! Had salad for lunch. Had a piece of Bach's birthday cake after church. Sigh.

Drinking my water and trying to stay awake. Weighed in at 173 even this morning. 172.6 yesterday.
