Howdy all!

Still weighing in at 173 this am. Saw 171 last week and then it jumped back up. Dang! I guess it is just going to take my body a little while to adjust to being lower than 175. I was there for a long time. I was also at 177 for a long time. Sigh.

I have been lax at my posting goals. I am busy at work with Easter coming up. This week our Music director has scheduled a major performance during the service and I am trying to keep my temper at a manageable level. (I hesitate to mention religion, but just to say we don't usually come to service to worship J. S. Bach) I'm trying to get this guy to accept me, but its really hard!

Yesterday I drank all my water and more. Today I'm having trouble slamming it in. Though I have eaten LC, bkfst and lunch. The fiber is not working the way it should be lately. Not sure why. I'm eating lots of salads, but maybe not enough of other veggies. I have never liked veggies and have to work to get in enough.

How are the rest of you doing on your goals?

I'm planning to do my posting tonight dh will be at a meeting and I have the entire evening to do what I want. Yay!

Peace, Peg

LOL Peg! Sounds like the former music director at our church.

I'm hanging in there. My eating and water are back on track and I've decided to go ahead and sign up at the athletic club in our building. Getting myself there at 6 am is going to be the hard part.

Welcome Judy!

Water was not awful today

Tracking was only half done

LC products??? Well, there was the high fiber cracker, and then the tortilla, and a piece or two of chocolate....

But I did manage to check in with all of my LC friends.

So the day wasn't a bad one after all. In fact, I've had a pretty nice one with a new piece of furniture as a treat.

Hey Judy! Sounds like you got an incredible bargain! Isn't that a good feeling?

I love it when you check in with your lc friends.

Yesterday was not a very good day (only because my car made an unexpected stop at McD's when the Mass Turnpike was so backed up that the car felt I needed a snack. My snack turned out to be a Big Mac and fries. Yikes!)

For some reason I keep dodging the big bullet with these cheats of mine. I only gained a few 10ths of a lb. But, it does keep me from losing which I'm having to look at in order to bet a little healthier!

I've been keeping up with my water today, and my eating has been clean. I think I'll leave work before the commute time so that I am not tempted to stop again.

I've not been keeping up with my posting. I don't know, but somehow when I go into the "newbie" forum or the "Atkins" forum, there are answers that are better or the same as I would give. I am not sure what my reluctance is to post. I'll think about it.

Peace, Peg

Deb: You are a character!! So glad you understand.

Still feeling recommitted to this WOL. But, I'm getting a little sloppy. A little cheat here, a little cheat there. I don't pay too big. But, I don't lose either. Sheesh.

Clean eating today, Water slamming in. Posting right now!

Poor Deb!! Poor All of US! Who'da thunk it was so hard to stay on the right path even when we can look at the results right in the mirror. Sometimes I just have to laugh at myself. There must be part of me that is very fearful, self-destructive, lazy, or just plain dumb! Thank goodness there's also the part that keeps on keeping on in all of us here. Pats on the back all around!

Remember the scene with the cowardly lion in the Wizard of Oz? Remember, he shadowboxes with his enemy, and sings with a lisp? That's what you remind me of, Deb. All ya need is coiage!

Just a note of warning for y'all. Do not attend shabbat services after having above mentioned candy. You will not make a lot of new friends...
and your husband will not want to sit near you...sgh

In the words of some wise TV comedian...

"That'll teach ya........."

The sickest I have been in years was after eating one of the Hershey's SF chocolates. I can do pretty good with most sugar alcohols, but the Lactitol they use is BAD. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that both my children seem to have inherited some kind of lactose intolerance as babies. If I am correct lactose and lactitol have some kind of kinship.

Unfortunately, I just lost a long reply.

Clothes shopping was online, and it was wonderful! I'm waiting delivery.

Eating yesterday was a disaster. It kept up today at lunch with another unscheduled stop at McD's. Tonight will be better since dh will be here cooking.

Recommitment? Well.........I'll let you know.

Peace, peg

Peg, you need to take that car in for a check up. It seems to have a real steering problem every time it passes a McDonald's.
