Congrats, Crys. On the pound loss, of course, but even more for the realization of the kind of woe that works best for you. It's so important for each of us to find a path through the landmine of available options which is both liveable for the long term and healthy. Some need lc treats in order not to feel deprived. I am more like you, however. I feel best when on whole, simple, and natural. I do fall off the path, but like Monica, I feel crappy, and worse yet, awaken the sleeping carb dragon within

Amazingly have been graced with a Zen day today myself, so I'm smiling, too.

Hi all:
Had a good eating day yesterday. It showed on the scale this morning. That's the good thing about this WOE. I don't have to wait for results as I did with WW or low fat. Passed up the cookies at the high school play last night. Stayed with water. Amazed at the number of people who were sucking on water bottles, both in the auditorium and at intermission.

Still beating myself up over the ways I ate last week, though I'm feeling much easier about it. I know why I did it. Now, I am working on forgiving myself and moving back to natural food.

I'm with you Monica and Bren. Natural foods are the only way for me to go. If I get into lc products, I need sugar. The dragon is down to a dull roar in me. Of course, I'm still home. Going back to work tomorrow will be the test.

Peace, Peg

So far, so good, Bren. I'm expecting my little confirmands in 20 minutes. I had to stay at the church and plan the lesson when one of the teachers called and said she can't be here. So, it's the CE Director and me! I didn't have time to get out and get a salad as I had planned. I'm hoping that the cook for tonight has some salad, and maybe some meat without sauce and pasta!

I've eaten lc all day so far. I've drunk almost all my water. One more bottle to go. I'll check in tomorrow.

I hope you are all doing well today. How are you feeling now, Bren?

Peace, Peg

Well, I got our taxes done, so I should be feeling pretty good! However, I missed a workout this afternoon, and I know I'll regret it. Like you say, start fresh tomorrow....

Didnt do well....I have to stay away from sugar and s/f chocolates. They set off cravings that arent easily contained. I ,too, do so much better on simple, real food.I dont get bored, either, just stupid sometimes. I love how I feel when I am back on program. So as I climb back on..........can someone pull me the rest of the way on the wagon...???

Yesterday must have been "tax day" in the cosmos! My dh started ours too.

I was able to eat lc yesterday with the exception of three little pieces of garlic bread. Man, I couldn't pass it up! But, I did pass up the chocolate mousse filled cupcakes. I was proud of myself for that. I have to consciously steer my car out of the parking lot and onto the road last night and not into Dunkin' Donuts. But I did it!

The scale showed almost at 173 again this morning. I am 174.0. It's taken two weeks to get off what it only took me one week to put on. Really, only about two days to put on! Sigh

Today is a day off and I'm trying to get a lot of stuff done that is personal (as compared to church related). Eating clean so far and been drinking my water. Feeling good, but I look like h***. Guess I'm tired.

I'll try to get in my posting before the day is over.

Deb, you are doing so well! Come up to the wagon. I'm barely hanging on, but I can probably lift you You are so danged light!

Peace, Peg

Ya know, this is the recommitment thread and I've got to say that while I'm checking in regularly, I am really, really pathetic at keeping my commitment to think nice thoughts about myself. Who'da thunk it would be so dang hard even to remember, much less do it. Well, I'm sure "not remembering" is on purpose, too. You know what I mean. Sheesh.

What is it, Peg??? I look like h*** too! But major congrats on making a DD detour

Hi all! I joined the no weigh challeng and now decided I don't want to weigh in on the 18th for the weigh in!!!!!!! Since I've made it this long why bother!
I've been making alot of chocolate shakes(coco, cream, ice , splenda,). I ran out of splenda and wont buy more! I'm a splenda addict!!!!!!! It helps fuel my chocolate addiction. LOL!

I OD'ed on the nuts the last 2 days but am glad it's not candy!!!
I'm vowing to be back in those 6's by mid summer!
Brenda and everyone be good to yourselves!!!!!!!

That is a group hug. I think we all need it!

I've had a very tough week both emotionally and physically. I came down with a nasty virus Tuesday evening -- started hitting last Sunday. I'm beginning to get better, but slowly. My littlest one has it bad still

I've had MAJOR cravings, but thank God, I've not caved. My one thing I did have (just remembered it) was a s/f salt water taffy which was about 6 carbs of s/as. I had it with protein and seemed to do fine.

Well folks I'm just bouncing off the wall with energy for the second day in a row~! I'm just so darn happy! It's not warm but the sun is beautiful
I'm just tickled pink to have dumped the scale. It feels like a weight has been lifted.
Brenda, hope you got some sleep! Feel better Sharon!
