Sharron, I had a wrap at one that was just lettuce yuck!!!! I tell them all the veggies and plenty of them! I would be leary though if I really counted my carbs by number. I've never tried blimpies.
I do use the tortillas. I dont know what brand is downstairs but the store no longer carries La Tortilla. I was bummed!
April, glad to hear you feel better.
Peg, I sure hope you not getting any of that flu that is going around!

My pants feel really hangy(ok so I made that word up?) in the butt and hips today.

Oh jeez, I can't remember the last time I posted. I've been so focused on making my niece's costume that time has literally stood still for me. It's funny how going into my sewing room is like entering another dimension of time altogether. My eating has been all over the place this week because we didn't get to the store this past weekend and nothing got cooked for the week. Dh has been working so hard at his job hunting that he hasn't had time to do anything either. I'm starting to miss my veggies in a big way. The next big project is getting our taxes done. Not looking forward to that! I noticed a sign in the break room that the athletic club in my building is having a sign-up special this month. I used to belong to it and it's a nice place, so I'm strongly considering re-joining, esp. as my firm will pay part of my monthly dues. Anyway, it's time to get back on track again.

Looks like everyone's truckin' right along.

I've been thinking of trying KISS, which I finally decided to start today.

My birthday is April 15th and I thought what a great birthday present it would be to see that scale move that last little bit! So, gonna give it a try. Nothing to lose!

Edited to say: I started a "Kissing till Easter Challenge" if any of you are interested!)

Peg,
Have you considered that the way you feel could be a direct result of STRESS! It's not like this isn't one of the two busiest seasons for ministers. And then there's that "little" thing with your daughter. Geez, let's think back over the last couple of months of your life. Job, daughter, husband bleeding all over everything....Yeah, in my book you could be the poster child for a stress commercial.

ROTFLOL!! JUDY Ya know........I forget about those things! My life has been the poster child for stress for so long that I have consistently tried to forget. If I really remember all that stuff then I get bummed.

But.....duh! Yeah, I'm feeling bummed.

Whaddya mean I feel it anyway even if I don't admit it?!?

Thanks Judy. I needed that. Tomorrow a day off. I'm getting my hair done, talking to my best friend in CA., and not much else. DH has to work all day Saturday and I will be writing, but not have to worry about him because he'll be gone. Sunday is work again, but hopefully I'll be rested.

Peace, Peg

Judy, I can so relate to the stress-puppy thing! I don't even think about it either, as it has been such a way of life for so long....

I'm doing well. Still not right yet, but better and losing again! I've lost 3 pounds this week. I'm thrilled!

Oh, and I tried some M. Jack cheese yesterday and did fine with it. Yay!

Esther, I was just thinking about you yesterday! I'm so glad you checked in, at least. I know things are difficult, but it's really good to hear from you.

Well I have been up and down like a roller coaster and now I know why--hormones. Which are not supposed to be a happening thing, if you know what I mean. Nevertheless, LOL!

Judy, that was a great observation about Peg. We do seem to expect so very, very much of ourselves, under even the most extraordinary of circumstances. Why do we always have to be superwomen in our own eyes!

Thanks BC! DH and I spluged a little and went to Chili's last night for dinner. They have bun-less burgers served with veggies and it was the best meal I've had all week. He had another interview today and is expecting to hear back from his previous interviews early next week, so we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Judy, I agree with BC on your observation about Peg. Very good insight there!

Hi gang!

Well it's a new day and the sun is shining. It's still a little cold (in the 20's) We would call that really cold if it were winter. But, it's the first day of Spring, and we refuse to accept the cold temps. Wednesday it's supposed to be in the 50's Yay! Bathing suit weather.

I had a restful day yesterday. Got my hair done and it looks great. Watched a DVD with dh last night; overall a good day.

Saw 171 again this morning. Must be because I exercised yesterday. Anyway, I'll take it.

I'll do my posting on other forums later today when my writing is done. But, I've been eating really well (lc) and drinking my water.

Hormones: What are they??? Ha ha. One advantage of being my age. I'm over it! Yay! Menopause was a loooooong process for me. Many years. But, no mood swings from hormones now. Good luck, BC and Deb. I am not unsympathetic.

Shabbat Shalom, Deb. Hope this is a restful weekend for you too.

Sharron, Esther, Crys, Judy: Good to see all your posts. Let's hang in there team! I'm baaaaack.

Peace, Peg

OK guys, this maintenance thing is a little scary. After only 2 months, I'm already afraid that I'm sliding into complacency and could let things get out of hand. I am still at 137-138 everyday, but I do not want to go back up! In fact, I really wouldn't mind going down another 2 or 3 pounds. So, here's the plan

drink more water --- this could be a big reason that I'm hungry more often lately

track more regularly

stay away from so many LC food products -- remember keeping it simple is simply the best way

keep hanging with all you helpful people[/list]

Woo Hoo, Judy!!!

Welcome aboard this slightly leaky boat! We're all really commitable....ahem.....I mean committed! Glad you are too. Good goals.

Peace, Peg

Today I felt much better about my eating. I tracked and posted the results, and I even made it past the 100 oz mark on water.

Dang, I think I'll break my arm patting myself on the back
