| Oh Donna, your yard is beautiful. The second pic looks like something from a Home and Garden magazine. ~~~~~~~~~~ Kim, thanks for your comments. The visitation at the funeral home is tonight. I didn't want to go down and spend the night, so another friend and I are leaving about 5:30 tomorrow morning. These twins were tiny little babies about 5 weeks early. They spent quite a while at the hospital before they got to come home. The girl was the smaller of the two. I can't even imagine how awful this has all been for them. The parents and babies lived in New Jersey. On top of everything else that had to transport the baby back to Texas. The mom's parents were there visiting at the time and her sister was working in the middle east (Saudi Arabia, I think). Los of travel involved in a horrible horrible situation. (PS: I only live about 40 miles from Tyler)

| Donna, lovely yard! Such beautiful and colorful flowers--I agree it looks as good as anything you'd see in a magazine. If I remember correctly you have quite a variety of lilies, and a particular fondness for them, too. But now who is that lovely flower right in the middle of the first picture Judy, Kim, I can not imagine anything more heartwrenching than a funeral for a baby. Judy, bless you for showing such support. Kim, your sister lost two children as babies? I know it's in the past, but my heart still goes out to her. Judy,I remembered today that several years ago there was an active member here on the Zone forum who had a successful business writing machine embroidery software. I'm almost sure it was for machine embroidery, anyway. I lost touch with her, but she was a fascinating young woman and I thought it an interesting business. I think her company was K-Lace or something like that. See you all tomorrow... hugs to all.

| Good morning! Sorry I was MIA yesterday. I had some computer work to do before work. Usually, I come here first! Peg, WOW!!! Tahiti!!! Oh, you are so, so lucky!!! But how on earth did you get your DH to agree to such a trip? If I recall past posts, he is a bit, um, frugal. I HATE it when on-line stuff doesn't fit. Such a hassle to return. But Peg, maybe this was a blessing in disguise. You are getting out your Diet Power! Bikini? Not in MY lifetime. But there was a time when I did wear one. SIGH. Of course, that doesn't mean I should have worn one, LOL! That Soft Surroundings site looks interesting. I'll have to spend a little more time there. I have never heard of it. Batwings? Remember that thread that was going for a while about those awful things? There were several exercises discussed. I remember a teacher I had in 4th grade. Boy, she had BATWINGS. I remember being distracted by them while she was writing stuff on the blackboard. Funny the things one remembers. Judy, oh! What wonderful embroidery! I had to laugh at the picture of Olivia's name on the butt of her panties. Reminded me of Donna's comment about embroidering the butt of your DH's shorts! If it's not too much hassle to explain, how does the machine WORK? How do you get the images you want into the machine? Your trip to Waco will be a sad one. Bless you for going. At least you will have company during the trip. Now I am confused. I thought you lived in Tyler. Or is that just the closest big town, you so just say "Tyler" when asked? Sorry. CRS. Would you mind telling me what HVAC systems you are getting quotes on? And the $$? This is one project Bob and I definitely have to do. Speaking of a/c: looks like I do set my temp cooler than the rest of you! At least Bob is not complaining about the bill. Just imagine what a new system will do! Brenda, picking out paint colors is so frustrating! Have you had a chance to play with that BM CD yet? Hmm. Maybe I will get one, too, as the paint samples I have chosen are BM. And you can use your own rooms? I really like that idea! There's a BM paint store just 5 minutes away. I was sorry to hear about your DH's friends being let go. It must be sad for him. BUT, does this mean he is still standing??? Shelley, you are OFF! You deserve a break. Whatcha going to do with all that free time? I was glad to read your nephew is opting for the chemo. It will be tough. But one can always HOPE. Barb, as always, you are an inspiration. During the big film job a few days ago, the customer made brownies. I had to smell those things all day. But I RESISTED. Yea! But it is easy to resist stuff when you are busy. It's idle hands (and minds) that can get ya. So wait for the video on "The Devil Wears Prada," huh? That was one movie I thought we might see during the holiday. Maybe "Prairie Home Companion" or "Superman." Although there seems to be some hub-bub over Superman. Leaving out "The American Way." Sheesh. It's a MOVIE. I would imagine ice skating would be a good way to get out of the heat! Looks like we are going to have a really hot weekend. Donna, sorry I did not post your "cheat sheet" yesterday! Your yard looks GORGEOUS! I can now understand why it takes so much time. You have LOTS of flowers. Do you still have that black lily?? What a wonderful friend to make you a chicken salad so you could pass up the pizza! And the guys teasing you about those cream puffs? I can just see everyone laughing and having a good time. You are lucky to have such a great group of friends. Oh, Donna, go ahead and enjoy Canada Day! Only weed if you really WANT to! Terry, what an excellent idea about using a LC tortilla for the pizza stuff! I have to remember that one! Bummer on your doctor appointment. I think I did that with a hair appointment once. I walked in and Ardy just said: "What are you doing here?" I hope your legs will not bother you too much during the week. I was looking forward to hearing what your doctor said about it. Rachel, how goes it? Are you packing like mad? I believe you said you should be done with that humongous chore by the 4th. ------------- I got up at 6:30 today. That's really something when you consider I fell asleep on the sofa at 7:30 last night. Guess I needed the extra sleep. But I wanted to get up at my usual time to start watering. Oh well. It's a two-day project anyway. The scale said 143 this AM. That was a shocker. I was pretty bad this week. Son Paul came in for a few days and we ate out two nights. One night the Mexican appetizers got me (along with the chips and salsa) and the next night it was the curly fries. I thought for sure I would tip out at 148. But yesterday was a stellar day, even got in all my water. Wonder if eating that bad stuff shook something up? Off to change the hoses. Have a great Saturday! XXOO
