cut the walk a little shorter today due to on again...off again...rain drops that kept hitting me in the face!

ooops...missed posting yesterday's #s.
they were: 1438 cal/61 net carb...ack! I can't seem to get back down into the 30s and 40s when there are strawberries around!

today's take:
  • 1303 cal
  • 74g fat
  • 92g pro
  • 67g carb
  • 22g fiber
  • 45g net carb...a little better!
walked 1 hr/3.25 miles/281 cal burn

DH is getting my bike *road* ready....yay!!
Hoping to ride at some point this week.

blew my numbers outta the water this evening. I would guess-ti-mate around 1600 - 1700 cal and prolly around 85 net carb.
I don't have the time or the energy to run today through fitday this evening.
HeJJ, I probably couldn't even remember what I've eaten today as far as that goes........

shaking head...pretty disgusted...I WILL BE BACK IN THE GAME TOMORROW!!!!

windy as all get out; tree pollen is in the high category; my eyes are red and itchy, I'm sneezy...did NOT walk! aaahhh-chooo!!

I'm down only 2 stinkin' pounds for this month!! Grrrr!!!
It's probably past time for me to think about cutting the calories down. I imagine I will have to go to around 1200 WITH fitness walking or biking to get the scales to move again. Kinda funny...this morning I felt smaller, I thought. My new capris seem to be a little big in the waist. So, there ya go...sometimes ya just can't believe those hateful scales!

Well, let's see...now that all my *excuses* are over with, I'm going to get *tuff* on these last 15 lbs I want to get rid of!
I was 13lbs away from goal, and I've dinked around, basically since just before Thanksgiving! Sheeesh...if I would've paid more attention, I could have been possibly sitting at my goal weight by now. BUT......WOULD'VE...COULD'VE...SHOULD'VE...doesn't do me any good, but what will do me good is some LC *housekeeping* to get rid of Carb Creep and his first cousin Cal Creep.

This is my housekeeping list from my journal entry today:

  • I'm tracking again...everyday...good or bad
  • I'm back on the NEAS challenge
  • continuing with fitness walking &/or biking
  • I'm going to limit my *smoothies* to 3 a week
  • I'm going to limit my dark chocolate to 3 servings/week
  • I'm going to try for 6-8 glasses of H2O per day
  • cutting back on the use of artificial sweetners
These may seem like small things to others, but I think for me, it may be the key to get over the obstacle and also get that carb creep out of my life! LOL!

  • 81g fat
  • 88g pro
  • 87g carb
  • 22g fiber
  • 65g net carb honestly, I think this is to much for OWL.
walked 1 hr/3.33 miles/283 cal burn/avgsp 3.30mph

I'm a woman on a mission, d*mnit! LOL! 6 weeks until homecoming weekend. I"m thinking of going to catch up with some old classmates, and I would really like to be closer to goal.
Yeah, I know...vanity, but hey, ! LOL!

  • 1513 cal
  • 92g fat
  • 102g pro
  • 72g carb
  • 22g fiber
  • 50g net carb...better but still not low enough.
  • walked 56 min/3.20 miles/262 cal burn/avgsp 3.37mph
  • #1 NEAS successful for 5/5.
  • down 2.5 lbs this morning. we'll see if the trend continues <insert crossed fingers here!>
  • need to work on the water thing!
  • DISCLAIMER: Personally, after reading some articles and researching the subject, I do not feel eight, 8oz glasses of water is necessary, for me at least. I sometimes feel worse after consuming that much water, regardless of the intake being spaced out over the entire day. I do think it is a good idea in warm weather, and especially if you exercise or work outdoors, to stay well hydrated. I feel good about my water intake if it's around 5-6 glasses and I've also had other fluids as well during the day. Again, I am speaking for myself only. YMMV.

Thanks for the encouragement...it really does help!
I can't really call this a *stall* I've been in; well, maybe 3 months out of the last 6, perhaps. I think I got to comfortable maintaining where I was, and honestly, I didn't try tweaking things that often to see if that would get things moving again. I'm truly thankful, believe me, that I've been able to maintain and not do some major damage like I've done in the past.
Maybe this old cat is learning some new tricks after all, eh?

Anyway, I looked at the calendar, and it hit me like a ton of bricks...this year is almost HALF over! If I'm going to fulfill my promise to myself,(and live up to my journal theme and make this THE homerun year) then I've got to get off my lackadaisical arse and step it up a notch! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!!
You didn't ask for all this, now, did you, kiddo??? LOL!
Well...I'm glad you came by...kinda lonesome in here.

OK...off to watch TV and NOT eat! Going for #2 NEAS tonight!
