| Heather, the prom pictures are posted in my journal. There are two of my great-niece, then our little neighbor came over to show me her dress. Both were beautiful young ladies last night. I may try to get DH to snap a picture of me on Tuesday, I'll have my hair done for work that morning. Bad thing about that, I leave around 6:30AM, he may not we up. If not, we'll be taking pictures next weekend at graduation. Unless there's a wind storm like the one we just had for two days. Judy, the big drugs they use to fight RA are called biologics. They those drugs are made makes me quite uneasy. Sistashell, you've inspired me to dig into old pictures and scan something to post when our anniversary rolls around. Bren, I'm thinking it has something to do with the harness stand thing they put him in while he's being groomed. He is very sore and tender in those areas after grooming. THE one reason I don't take him in for grooming more often, I can't stand to put him through this. Alida, I still haven't been able to get all the flowers planted that I bought last weekend. Between temps dipping into the 30s, huge amounts of rain and a two day wind storm, they are still on my patio. But, today that will change as it looks like decent weather is on tap. A little cool, but I can get them in. Peg, your shower and shave story put a smile on my face. Two years ago today our little Modie left us for Rainbow Bridge. Ozzie has been kind enough to share some space in his little furkid journal. You can read about MODIE if you'd like. Happy Sunday to everyone. to Berta, Mary Kay, Barb, Donna..well, everybody! |

| Stayed up until midnight last night trying to get all pics from dh's trip to Machu Pichu loaded to a USB stick to install in one of those electric computerized picture frames. Got them, finally done and then was exhausted to get up this morning. But took dh to the train (his first time riding on the train since January) at 7:30 a.m. and came home and got ready for church. Went to church and was introduced by my Pastor for being gone for so long! Sheesh. I'm finally done with chaplaincy at the health center. So glad. Came home from the inevitable lunch and fell asleep quickly as soon as I lay down. I woke up just a few minutes before dh came home from his church in LA. He came and lay down too. Of course he has just had major surgery! I am just lazy. Except that I have to admit that Fibro has gotten the best of me lately. I am SO achy in the morning, and in the evening. I am also SO FAT. (I tried to think of a less pergorative word to say, but couldn't think of one) Every day I think I will start this morning. And, I do. For the breakfast. At the inevitable lunch, I lose it. But, I have to say that I LOOK fabulous! Thanks to Chico's. I'm reading along with all of you, guys. So good to read. Peace, Peg |

| Good morning! LOL. I just wrote those words above to Judy this morning! And Peg, I make it through lunch, it's dinner that does me in. This has to be quick. I have to be at work at 8 a.m. every day this week. My usual time is 9, so I am in a rush to spend some time with my husband in the AM. XXOO

| Good Morning.... and how many of us does this make..having the same conversation Judy, Peg, Alida & Bert.. I make it till evening usually.. then ???? Trying to get to gym this a.m. Peg, you should be tired, you are on the go constantly. Good for you being done with the chaplaincy and back in your church. And what did you get the last trip to Chicos. Do you go to Chicos or shop on line??? Shel, Your wedding picture, so sweet. A good many years together in todays world. Sure wish we had a wedding picture, but it was an elopement just the two of us..and no camera.. Procrastinating enough... haven't been working out since December, so it's going to be tough getting back in the swing of it. DH doesn't wake up anymore till nearly 10.. and I have him set up so he'll be ok if he does. Have a great day everyone |

| Finally chiming in at 9:30. Not like I haven't been up and about though. Today I need to do some housekeeping. However, it's a lovely day, so I'd better get outdoors. The rest of the week looks like thunder and lightning every day. As for weight issues...I've been eating (and drinking) pretty regularly of late, and notice that my "base" weight is up about two lbs. This could be the beginning of the Creep, so I'm alert to it. Being stupidly happy is not necessarily the best frame of mind for weight management. But I'm not going to complain about that! I wish everyone their share of happy this whole week. |

| Following along. Busy week on tap with DS1 graduating on Saturday. Much to accomplish. My sis has a Cinco de Mayo birthday, I'm treating her to lunch today. To celebrate both occasions we're having a late lunch, of course it will be Mexican, fajitas will do nicely. Worked in the yard yesterday, winds and rain finally left. Of course, Oz was there helping. Ozzie the gardener. Gotta get a move on. Have a good Monday. ![]() |

| Susie: Those pics of Ozzie are just what we needed to put a smile on our faces on a Monday morning. What a sweetheart! Shelley: Loved the pics too! Dh and I also eloped but didn't think to ask anyone to take a pic. Probably just as well...those little chapels in Reno can be pretty tacky! Get this....when the minister finished our little ceremony and pronounced his husband and wife he then yelled out....NEXT! lol Judy: We did go to the ballgames. Froze my buns off Saturday but yesterday was nice. I came home...looked in the mirror and YIPES...my face is totally windburned. I look like a raccoon from wearing sunglasses. Hoping it fades fast. Barb: Good for you catching it at 2 lbs. Wish I had done that 19 lbs. ago. We stopped and saw the grandkids yesterday and gave ds his birthday gift. Ended up buying him a game for the XBox. He's as bad as his kids when it comes to computer stuff and games. He seemed pleased. Then I found out all the grandkids are playing baseball this year...on different nights. That was one of the things I was in trouble for last year was not going to their games. So...now I have to fit in all my household chores, a full time job, dh's baseball and the grandkids baseball. That means running to their games Tuesday and Wednesday nights...and they live 25 miles away! I'll do it though...maybe just not every game. Ds took me outside to see what his dog has done now. He has the most gorgeous Basset Hound. Very stupid dog though. He tried to sneak under the fence and ripped his side open. Doesn't even bother him. Ds is doctoring him up and hoping it won't turn out to be a big vet bill down the road. I found the most gorgeous little communion bracelet for Micayla. She has her first communion June 1st. This one has little rinestones on a gold chain with a gold cross hanging from it. Just what every little girl likes...shiny things. And, I also found everything else on my list. Well, except for the exercise video but I ordered that online Saturday night so it should be here in a week or so. I'm joining all of you in saying I'm at my highest weight in 4 years. 169 this morning. I'm fed up with myself. Right now I have a 1L bottle of water beside me with another lined up beside it. I'll be back on track with the treadmill tonight and no eating after dinner...that's my worst time. I definitely take the prize for being the piggy this weekend. But, that's behind me..another new start today. Okay...off to work. Talk to you all tomorrow.

| Following along also. Nothing new here. DH and I went on our dinner date to the Mexican cafe' we like. I held firm and didn't get a Marita. I just couldn't justify the 400 calories and 26 carbs!!!(for a 6 oz Rita) YIKES!!! Trying to dig my heels in and get rid of the rest of my pounds. I've dinked around long enough, but I have a feeling this last 14-15 *ain't* gonna go without a big, hairy, hard fight! GRRRRRR! Anyhooo...invitation is always open to all to join us in the OWL accountability thread, the NEAS-3 challenge(no eats after dinner/or 3 hrs before bedtime), and the exercise accountablility thread! The more the merrier! later, chickadees! (((hugs to all))) s

| Hey gang! DH and I had a fun date night Sunday with movies and dinner. We saw Ironman and it was FANTASTIC! We'll buy it. Went to Salvation Army $5 bag sale today and found some cute clothes, tons of $1 shoes and a blue jean purse to match my jeans - lol. Have a good week gang! |

| Good morning, my dears. Bible study group this morning, so I'm up with the birdies. And they are noisy when you are living in the midst of trees. Heather, you work budget miracles. The rest of the country could take a lesson from you. I had fun shopping at Big Lots yesterday. They have bargains on cleaning supplies, kitchen ware, and stuff you didn't think you needed. Donna, sounds like you had a good shopping experience, too. Your family is blessed to have you and your generous heart. I wonder...did anybody here have a "big" wedding? Sounds like we were mostly brides-on-the lam. Susie, how was the birthday party? My sister has invited me to lunch today, and I'm looking forward to catching up. We actually talk to each other more when she's at her place in Colorado, because then we e-mail. Yesterday I made a batch of Cream of Spinach soup as a trial run. I've decided to follow in Larry's footsteps and make soup for the Soup & Bread ministry at our church. Visitors take it to new moms, people recuperating, and others. I want to make sure I have a recipe that recovers from being frozen. (It also has to be easy!) I also made a batch of deviled eggs. I'd forgotten how much I like them, and now that I'm responsible for my own lunch every day, I need some variety. I've figured out enough things to put in tuna salad to make it different every time. Tonight is the band concert, including my little duet pieces with my instructor. I'm reminding myself that "this is just for fun." I don't have to be the Mozart of the trombone. Not tonight anyway. We're supposed to get some big weather the next three days. Are you in it now, Shelley? Take care and have a good day, loved ones. |

| Good morning! Again, this is quick. Yesterday I showed up for work at the appointed 8 a.m. time and really wasn't needed until about 8:30. A tad PO'd. So I will go in about 8:15 today. Barb, my friend asked me if I wanted to see John Brown but I begged off. A World Premier is a pretty big deal, though! How did you like it? Bren, please have that spot looked at, OK? Peg, I, also, did not realize you still had your "foot hardware." Gosh, when did the doctor originally tell you it was to come out? Or is it a case that sometimes they leave it in if it doesn't bother the patient? Shelley, great picture! I don't think I have ever seen a picture of your husband. CRS, you know. Meanwhile, a handsome devil!Someone (Susie?) mentioned "Breck Girl." That's a great description! A big hello to those I did not mention. I am running my answers through memory, which is never a good thing. Meanwhile ... does anyone know how to remove massive amounts of belly fat? Seriously, no seriously. XXOO
