well....I blew my goal for 30g or less today. I had an encounter with some grapes.
They won.

today's scoop:
  • 1439 calories
  • 94g fat
  • 91g pro
  • 56g carb
  • 15g fiber
  • 41g net carb
walked 1 hour/ 3.66 miles/203 cal burn

down waltzed this morning to the tune of half a pound; makes down 6.5 lbs. since July 19th....I'll take it! 2.5 lbs more and I'll be in oneunderland and new territory.
Boy, will I be glad to see *new country*

Shelley!! 6.5 is great, and I know you will get that other 2.5 mini goal soon. My current short term goal is to be at 154 by the end of the first six weeks. 4 pounds in 6 weeks should be doable........ I do need to get back to some Beck principles that I let slip while I was eating lunch out all week.

Shel & Judy, you are both doing so well. I was and then I tripped up for a 3 days and scales rocked up 3 lbs... or was it more??? no slow waltz I was moving right up there. Today was better, I would hope to start the waltz down.

My goal is 18 lbs by Dec 29 when we head south.

Calories 1164
Fat 56 gm
carbs total 60 -10 fiber = Net 50
Alchohol 16gm 4 gm carb

WOW Berta! I'm impressed with your goal. I know myself so well that setting a goal of losing the 17-18 pounds is going to take longer than 4 months. I generally figure my goals at about .5 per week. This week was a wash. I ended up right where I started. Actually, after eating out for lunch everyday, I consider that a victory.

well....
due to a last minute substitution (a yellow crooked neck squash in place of green beans), my carb count is about 10g over
I should've entered it in fitday before dinner instead of after...
(I didn't realize a stinkin' medium size squash had 10 net carbs!) oh well, it was veggie carbs and not something gosh-awful, right?


So, today's take:
  • 1309 cal
  • 79g fat
  • 96g pro
  • 64g carb
  • 20g fiber
  • 44g net carb
exercise day off today. Waltzed up a half pound.

Tomorrow is a new day, of a new week, so I'm lookin' to lose NEW weight, dang it!

I like that term "new weight". I was back at 157.5 this morning. I'd like to lose some new weight this week too.

Ok, tell me why I gained .5 for today, after I ate less than 1000 calories and had lower carbs yesterday. I'm going with the "got up two hours" earlier theory. Tomorrow is another day....... I'm looking for new weight lost.

And of course there was that splash ?? of alcohol.. Probably would drop some faster.. but my mental status my suffer

today's ugly truth...
Dinner date with DH and we tried a new restaurant. My only *sin* was some deep fried *breaded* okra, o/w stayed LC with the ground sirloin with sauteed mushrooms and melted jack cheese, and a salad with ranch drsg.
However, the lovely dinner did make the caloric intake for the day, velly, velly scary!!!

The ulgy truth:
  • 1732 calories....Holy Crap-oly, Batman!
  • 132g fat...BAM! ZAP! POW!
  • 87g pro
  • 54g carb
  • 16g fiber
  • 38g net carbs
amazingly, down 2 lbs this morning, but with today's calorie count, I'm sure I'll do the *up-waltz* in the morning. <sigh>

walked 55 min/3.25 miles/184 cal.
I can tell you one thing...I'll have my beeeeehind out the door before 0730-0745 in the morning. Not leaving the house until close to 0900 this morning made for a miserable walk.(80 degrees with 81% humidity).
